Chocolate used Wilton candy melts 1 bag 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil. Add when already melting.
Be patient with your shoes, they will melt it it gets too hot in your hands.
Alternatives, using gumpaste and painting them instead of putting fondant over them.

Paint your shoes with edible paint or make your own. I said Wilton white buttercream but forgot to add Icing color to my sentence😂 The icing color with gel colors and vodka or alcohol works. More alcohol the better and faster the paint dries.
Make sure to tap the mold against the counter or hands to take out any air bubbles.

1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 c. cornstarch
MIX WATER AND CORNSTARCH WITH WISK TIL THERE ARE NO LUMPS. THEN ADD CORN SYRUP AND MIX WELL.
PUT IN MICROWAVE FOR 30SEC INTERVALS, MIXING IN BETWEEN. WILL BE THICK SO ADD WATER TO THIN OUT TO YOUR LIKING
