Edifier R1700BT Review - Don't Ignore these! 

Great review, have these and really love them now that they're properly situated to be on my right and left. Re-discovering their great sound in music, haven't tried gaming yet. Subscribed!

I just got these and for the price , they are really good , after 2 days of listening they hard to beat for the money

I totally agree, I brought 2 pairs in my house. One in front room, the other in kitchen. I can't believe how good they sound for their size

My father bought these for my wife and I as a housewarming gift. They have a rich sound and an excellent "thump" to the bass. My only con would be the low hiss of static / slight buzzing that occurs when you're connected to bluetooth but not playing music / audio. I don't know if this is a result of the amount of power consistently flowing into the speakers or just a defect, but either way it's kind of annoying. Then again, once the music starts this static goes away; so if you're turning the speakers off when you're not playing anything through them, it's only a minor inconvenience. The problem doesn't matter enough for me to return them / address the issue. I'm not at all disappointed by the performance when it comes to actually playing audio. Edifier provides great value given the quality and price point of their products - these stereo speakers are a quintessential testament to that.

do you think these would work ok as tv soundbar replacement? (edit) nevermind you just talked about the TVs lol I should really watch the whole video before commenting lmao thanks for the review. even though you said they would'nt be ideal as a soundbar replacement, as I stream everything from my PC to the tv I think these will work ok in the bedroom if I connect the speakers to the PC directly via the 3.5 jack they will work fine. thanks again for a detailed review of these speakers 👍

Do I need to buy a separate bluetooth receiver for this?

the BTS has a sub out. spend the extra £10 quid for them as it gives you options, particularly if you want to use them in a home cinema setup. Apart from that they are basically the same as the BT.

I've used Logitech Z533 and after one year of normal use subwoofer died. Will These speakers be better?

For video editing purpose which one is better? Edifier MR4 or Presonus Studio Monitor Erise3.5

Will it work with digital piano?

The sound is very good but quality control isn’t. Mine came with a mark on the case which the factory must have known about as it had some masking tape under it to highlight it. One speaker had silicone seal on the bass driver looking ugly. Not what I was expecting for a full priced product.

Could not stop the neighbor at the apartment building where I was living from connecting to these as they have no pin. Anyine can connect and start playing. Everything else is very good but this is deal breaker.

Go the d12 for cheaper it has sub out and does 70watt instead of 42watt

I have these, great sound, but the remote sucks balls. I don't know why edifier persist on using the $1 remote. They don't charge a dollar, but that's all it's worth.

Do ignore these. I'm fairly tech savvy but the endless problems in trying to get them to work consistently are very depressing. When it game to play audio from a video game I had to install Microsoft DirectX June 2010 and had them working last night but now they've stopped again. I've wasted my money.
