Edinburgh's Famous Hogmanay New Year Fireworks 2015, Edinburgh's Hogmanay is one of the biggest and best New Year celebrations in the world. Apologies for the shaking footage half way through, it was incredibly windy!
Best New Years EVER. We were watching from the Keilidh getting pelted by 'shrapnel' having Drambuie toddy's and loving the moment. If only I could be at Hogmanay every year! Thanks for sharing this great memory.
Cool - Is that from a DJI or something similar? I went up to the top of Salisbury crags but it felt way too windy to launch for someone inexperienced like me as Ive only had mine a week.
Commercial rubbish. As someone who actually comes from here - 20 odd years ago hogmanay was a local celebration up at the Tron church in the High Street - now us citizens can`t even go there because foreign companies will charge us (you know, in the city we actually come from and pay council tax in)! Strictly for the tourists and the numerous Southern English who moved up here in their droves during that period.
And 20 years ago, nobody else came or cared. You do know that the Tron is still there? It is still a locals' place to go on Hogmanay - why don't you go? I presume you have actually ever been? But why did you stop?.. See you at the Tron on Hogmanay! Oh, and it is still FREE.
That's the most illegal filming ever mate. Honestly, I'd advise you to take it down. Nice shots like... but the CAA are cracking down on stuff like this. Just sayin'...
