to be fair there were some crucial improvements made by other people to actually push it to that point, but no doubt he popularized amaryllis and is the reason why it's seeing play now
This is definitely one of the coolest ideas I have seen for the deck in quiet some time. It definitely solves a lot of the problems that tytannial faces. Will definitely be trying out this card!
@@hermitxIII nah he for sure means 6. generally i think having a ratio of 6 to 2 (6 being the standalone cards like ryko / lyla / charge, and 2 being the reliant cards like discharge) is decent enough as a minimum to shoot for. that being said, i'm kinda on the same side as karpath here - the deck already has a good amount of brick potential, and adding another engine where you need multiple pieces to fit together is probably not the way to go. in a deck like ama, idt you need to raise the performance ceiling too much, you just wanna make it consistent
@@LionKingGod both glads and bw seem super duper tough. tbf glads can have a bit of a hard time with an established tytannial depending on the build, but having the tokens and ama to run into + a lot of glads now running 2 retiari is tough
i always get distracted by your hand shuffling, and now you even started shuffling in real life lol - how many location changes happened in this video? :D but yea, i like those shield warriors - it's the kind of stuff you see low ranked opponents run in ls or something, and you always think it's a card worth trying - and then you never do. amaryllis definitely feels like one of the better fits to give the card a shot. sadly no protection from ddwl :c
At the time of the banlist, I'm sure that in 2010 the OCG and TCG both didn't experiment with Shield Warrior as an option. Besides, the TCG Edison format only lasted for 2 weeks lol.
