I used to run a very similar build back in the day, but I always stuck to double prisma with stratos and rota and e call to max out Darius effect. The deck is so versatile though there’s a million ways to slice and dice it
Shallow grave is definitely pretty neat but likely begs more prisma investment. Cold Wave also puts me off, but is probably one of many cards that deserve a chance. Do you have any thoughts to share on Icarus in GBs? Equeste seems to be a go-to tag in and it even puts a guy in grave for further equeste plays. Would obviously be a proving ground version. Amusing that sirocco and crow in the side become a little better as well.
@@UnhappyPensFan ya prisma probably goes up with more grave. Eventually I’ll try 3 prisma 3 grave and I think I’ll like that. I don’t any non tiger build which is where you typically see Icarus. There are just too many competing cards in tiger builds. And I don’t recommend a non tiger build so I also would t recommend Icarus. Can it randomly be good? Sure. But I think you’ll be whiffing more often than not or forced to make awkward tags that you don’t want to make. I’ve seen a lot of bw decks drop it. If they drop it to stay more consistent, I don’t see how it plays well with GB without three besti.
@@ma.2099 well I'd say it doesn't even compare to icarus in bw for several reasons. They use it more as a constant threat to complement their push and a way to plus off disruption. In the case of GB, they still have the opportunity to plus off disruption, but they also get a tool to deal with cards that can otherwise be annoying to get through like cydra, sirocco, and dupe lock. I was personally working with a prismaless tiger build because I felt Prisma and Tiger are a little too committal and force you into playing your hand earlier than you want to and just kind of folding to certain disruption. Icarus allows you to pace things out a bit, at least in theory. Anyway, I think I'm decently experienced in the format, but like most, glads are a bit of a blindspot for me haha I'll mess around with things a bit for a while though and see if I share your perspective in the end. Maybe you just have to send it and go full gyzarus turbo with shallow lol
Resolving Prisma is usually gg, especially when you keep Bestiari in grave because always having access to Darius in the future is so strong. Ive thought about playing like a heavier Prisma Darius (i guess shallow grave) build for this reason... only problem is d.d. crow.
@@blackrosed8068 sure can be! Def try out shallow grave. GB have to start to evolve and the very few games I’ve played (less than 10) and a buddy who has played dozens of matches so far, we have concluded that at least 1 shallow grave is fine in the more “standard” builds. Sometimes just wins the games. O can see more on a stronger prisma build. Anyone siding crow against gb is a little odd imo. But it is possible!
Shallow grave is interesting though I probably wouldn't run more than 2 copies. I've even been thinking about fake hero with prisma and like 3 emergency call lol something to speed up the deck just a tad. Fake hero is like our early version of a hero lives much like my body is our early version of forbidden lance.
