No. In Gold’s text, it says “Skyscraper”, so it must be that target. The only way you could search Skyscraper 2, is if in its’ text the card stated it was treated as “Skyscraper”. Honestly though, skyscraper is just as good by providing ATK advantage in the grind game to get over DAD, JD, Caius, and etc with Captain Gold. The search in game 1 was indeed illegal.

Victor didn't draw after he popped the field spell. Special summoned the ancient gear then draw a card. That's an illegal move. At 1:06.
