Being a teacher, I have to mention that you want the title in the thumbnail to say "Lightning Fast Editing." Lightening is when you want to make something less dark. Lightning is the flash of light that causes thunder. I like your videos. They're easy to follow and concise.
So glad I discovered you yesterday! I would benefit from a VERY beginners' beginner tutorial such as, explain timeline, story, the different layers at the bottom & what they're for (one for video, one for audio, etc.), explain terms as if I've never heard them before (cuz I haven't). You don't have to dumb down or go slow, I can always rewind the video. But if you are a brand-new beginner, we need to start with terms the experts take for granted. THANK YOU
@@shanehubbardcreator well I can say your videos helped me feel confident enough to jump into capcut and start my 2nd ever long form video so thanks again man
This is an awesome tip - I set my keyboard up to do this. However - one extra point, otherwise it doesn't work. You can't just move your playhead to the point in the video where you want to split and then delete left or right - if you do that it will come up with error message "couldn't delete left/right at this postion" - for this process to work, you MUST be playing the video when you split the clip - then it works perfectly. You can't just scrub through footage and split, delete left or right or the split - without actually playing the video. fab tip though, it has really sped up my workflow
@@lumpialife It is a relatively new feature so it may not be fully rolled out yet. Keep an out for it and make sure your software is always up to date!
