We have a president who is pretty much absent since he decided not to run for reelection (or was that decision made for him?) The vice president is off running her own campaign. This show was an all time classic but when it first came on I was not allowed to watch because of the content. I was 9 at the time it started. My brothers were old enough I had to go into my room for the first 5 or 6 episodes then when I did watch it there were strict rules for me like I could not watch an episode alone or use any of the swear words or racist comments in the house or outside

Wow, to say nothing has changed, means you are not paying attention...or lost comprehension abilities. I'm in my 8th decade, and see changes, "every year"! These changes are not for the better, either. 50 years ago, you did not have a smart-phone telling you what to say/think/do. If you had a problem, you asked 'people' {Do you remember them} for help. Independent thought, is a thing of the past. Almost everyone born after 2000, would be absolutely lost, if they lost phones, and had to use a pencil & paper to solve a problem. Instant answers has stopped people from thinking. The brain needs exercise to remain strong, and today's brain is under-worked, severely. A main reason for the confusion. I'm not saying anything else {unless asked}...as a working, healthily-thinking brain has more than enough new information, to formulate a conclusion. Good luck with that.
