Is there a way to make the SHIFT button work as a switch instead of having to hold it? I need a way to switch instrument presets with one button instead of having to press SHIFT + Octave Up/Down? This is really inconvenient for quick browsing through presets... EDIT: Double-clicking the SHIFT key actually did the trick 🙏
Whilst it's possible to change the velocity response of the pads, the keyboard velocity curve is fixed for FLkey Mini and cannot currently be modified. Within FL Studio, you should find that you can use the velocity mapping curve editor to adjust the relationship between FL Keys (note on) velocity and the value passed to FL Studio.
If your FLkey Mini is left idle for five minutes, it enters 'Vegas mode'. In Vegas Mode, colours scroll across the pads indefinitely until you press a pad, button, or key. To turn Vegas mode on and off, press the blue pad (7th from the left) in the Settings Page. To access the Settings Page, just hold the Shift button down whilst powering up your FLkey Mini.
If anyone is having problems resetting like I had where your pads all turn blue and pink make sure you deleted every fl folder you have and uninstall dont just in install go to documents deleted imagine line and any fl folder
I'm sorry to hear that you had problems. It sounds like FLkey might not have been correctly configured within FL Studio. Correcting this wouldn't necessarily have required the uninstallation of FL Studio, but this is solid advice for those who wish to do that. In case you didn't know, FLkey Mini can also be reset to its factory state using Components, with any web browser that supports web MIDI. such as Google Chrome - components.novationmusic.com/flkey-mini/custom-modes
