@@oliverfield877 He doesnt. She wasnt kicked out of the band. Right after she quit the relationship with alex, she started to date the pianist of the band. She also had drug problems, which is why she was asked to sit a tour out. She then responded with quitting the band.
I saw them open when I went to a Gogol Bordello show in 2009 or 2010 (maybe close to when this video was recorded, the show was in LA and she had this haircut) and I remember thinking they seemed like a creepy cult in the overly blissful way they performed on stage, and with how obsessed she seemed to be with him. I still feel that way, but it’s interesting how that performance has stuck in my mind even more than anything Gogol Bordello did that night.
