Incredible eloquence from President Faison, sensitive to all persons and details, history, and tragedy, including God’s Presence into our daily fate, even into our collective Future. It's a Christian college founded in 1866 by the AME church( African Methodist Episcopal) to teach freed men and their children how to read....cause according to desantis that was one of the "perks" after enslavement...it was no longer illegal to teach the enslaved how to read and write
