Shannon really does make some excellent soap. The DE89 surprised me. I figured it would be good but didn't know it'd be great. The one time the hype is real! 😁

I'm happy to see you enjoyed that shave. That DE89 is still one of my favorites. Pro tip: if you buy it directly from EJ it's much cheaper than from other sellers. 😊 I like to pair it with a Feather. Floral scents are nice in shave gear. Real men like florals too! 😅 What did you get for dinner today? Something good I hope. Thanks for the shave, TomTom! 😄

Yeah, I'm going to have to save up for the EJ DE89 as my face this morning is begging me to. No irritation at all (a little existing from past shaves). I BBQ'd spare ribs yesterday evening and we had lunch with my parents. The ribs came out okay but I'll marinade longer next time.

Oh, yeah. I'm looking at getting the 3ONE6, but I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to get the colored anodized aluminum or if I should just go with the regular stainless steel handle.

@@linguaphile88 yeah, always a debate. My deciding factor is what I ask myself every time, "does the increased price also increase performance?" Most of the time the answer is no. There's also preference and some guys really like the better looking of the two regardless, and I think that's okay also. I suppose I'm a minimalist? Haha, with my 60 soaps!! 😅

Seems like this one is called the DE3DBC15bl now in Diamond Black also on the bottom ? Can't find it under the DE89 ref., just the bottom is different I guess
