I love to see Valero train man i haven't really seen other boxers who train so intense... just like Pacquiao... and like in interviews with e.g. Josesito Lopez he says: " Valero was just an animal man... he wouldn't get tired." and another interview with Abel Sanchez: " Valero was very special, he was an animal... he would do twice as much as his trainer would ask him to do." If you hear all those things after his death you just say man i wish this guy was still alive...
you can see looking at Valero's eyes there is some sort of disconnection from emotions which is common amongst psychopaths. I guess that bike accident did more damage than most of us had hoped ... or perhaps he was always this way
He for sure had anger issues from his childhood but the motor cycle could of caussd bad enough damage to make him lash out in violent episodes. I beleive he suffered from drug abuse, mental health issues and CTE which led to his murder/suicide. OJ simpson is a very similar case, I think he had CTE aswell.
@crabbit87 Valero suffered a head injury from a motorcycle accident, he wasn't wearing a helmet. Made him even more crazy. He was cleared to fight in Texas, he had one fight. Before Edwin died it was looking like he was to be cleared to fight in the rest of the States.
Valero is right thou, back then Guzman was such a tough fighter to figure out. He was slick, great foot work, and throws a lot of punches. He also fought in bursts but very quick bursts. Valero vs Guzman would probably been boring in the early going but exciting in the later rounds. Pacquiao vs Valero just would of been action packed from the 1st bell to the last, they were both good friends of with each other so i don't know how that would play in the fight but it would of been very exciting to watch.

Man those cuts and his chin have really done a number on his career. Guerrero went all the way up to welterweight and I envisioned Linares doing the Sam thing. Not sure if he will ever realize that potential now.
I just dont understand how a guy who was so close to such big things and success could all of a sudden turn around and kill the mother of his 2 kids in such a gruesome fashion. and still there are no stories out, e.g. what his wife may have done or what was troubling him so much. Alcohol and coke dont make everyone kill their wives
Selenacuerdo I highly doubt that was the reason Valero murdered his wife,thats so dumb.You didnt know his wife and neither did I but she doesnt seem from what I have seen to be a woman like that,she seemed to be devoted wife and mother to her kids.The way she carried herself,dressed etc doesn't point to your theory and again its just not logical,sounds dumb.I believe it was just the case of Valero being an aggressive person when under the influence of alcohol and drugs and obviously it built up over time.There was several incidents in the past of his wife being beaten.Valero was probably paranoid because of the drugs,drunk and just lost his mind but went too far. @Lil Phazo again that theory is dumb,there are great Hispanics Boxers out there and its a bit too extreme for that to be the motive for someone to kill Valero.
He had anger issues had a kid and he had a brain injury when he was 18 or 19 plus getting punched for a living all contributed to him going crazy it’s sad not his fault

Dahmani Mohamed the guy was on his way to take out cash cows like pacquiao Marquez mayweather etc he was framed and killed by Venezuelan police . Boxing took this guy out, Valero was going to dethrone everybody and promoters were worried about that

Linares es tremendo boxeador mucho mejor a mi juicio que Valero, Linares es muy disciplinado, entrena duro, escucha consejos y sobre todo es muy humilde. Espero que su trayectoria siga brillando. Valero bueno es tremendo campeon pero le falta algo de tecnica y ser un poco mas elegante pero de que es bueno es bueno, pero prefiero a Linares

I think Valero should face Juarez or Marquez before thinking of a fight against Pacquiao,to see how he does against high caliber opponents. Of course that's if he finally gets a license to fight in the U.S

Let's not forget he killed his wife. His parents even say he was addicted to drugs. He was demonized.. He had 16 million at time of his death and his wife couldnt escape his abuse.. The whole family feared him.. He was a good fighter..
The motorcycle crash did this guy.... I been racing dIRTBIKES, hard enduro and at the end roadbikes. Had crash in 2010 with 450ccm dirtbike, crashed in huge root, at 110km threw me over bars and alpinestars neckbrace saved my life. Because where neckbrace ends is collar bone and i had it crushed, broken exacly where brace ended. Moral of the story... Kids dont think you badass when you ride withouth gear and damn ever withouth helmets. One mistake and u can die or end up on wheelchair.... Linares es talentoso y podra ser campeon de nuevo. Fue una derrota dolorosa y su confiansa puede ser da~ada pero muchos lo han logrado superarlo. Mi idolo Don Salvador Sanchez sufrio una derrota en su comienso de su carrera y hoy dia es considerado como una Leyenda del boxeo. Saludos de un Mexicano.

Busco en mi comentario donde poste que estaba acabado Linares y no lo encuentro. Estoy alegre porque salio con una gran victoria mi compatriota contra un boxeador que era favorito para ganar. Y tambien me canse de leer los comentarios de Venezolanos que ofenden al boxeo Mexicano. Una derrota no es fin del mundo,se gana y se pierde.

Linares es un excelente boxeador , esperemos y lo veamos pronto en el ring, al contrario de Valero, que en mi opinion no tiene tanta calidad, la verdad es mucho mejor boxeador Linares y no dudo que volvera ha ser campeon del mundo.
