No special place should be reserved for a foreigner where our own superstars cannot stay. A superstar in his own country is a king in his own regard. That is the exact reason why foreign escorts of Kamala Harris were searching Ghanaian securities in their own country. That is a complete downfall of the sovereignty of the African people against which i believe you stand for. They could have compelled them to whatever fate in America because yes, That is America but here in Nigeria, we need to begin to treat even our smallest stars with high regard not because of their influence on the outside but because they are what we have. It is the same mentality that makes you judge an Artist by the number of Grammys they win when clearly sponsorship n funds accompanied with promotion and a high level of mental imperialism is what makes Grammy outstanding. No chinese cares about grammy, Does that mean they do not have musicians in their country. Tell him he is also stupid to have said that right? Thirdly, at around 11:50, Daddy Showkey said "Nobody owes anybody anything" That's tantamount to raising an ungrateful society. I am totally against riding on the good you have done as predecessors and i am also completely against a community of ungrateful individuals. I owe a debt not only to those that financially catalyzed my growth, i also owe a profound debt to all those that came before me on whose experiences, mistakes and prosperity i ride higher today. If same music of today were sung in 1999, they wouldnt even earn a Grammy Nomination not because they are not good but because many people over there would not even hear them. People those days put the effort to promote their art and at the same time, sell the brand to the outside world. Just as Seun Kuti would say, In Africa, We are all children of sacrifice.

I see sentiment here, everyone has his or her own side to a story. Idris didn't even mention he fought with 50 cent, he only said a few members of 50 cent's crew, and he called out names, Young Buck confirmed Idris's story and not Daddy Showkey's. No matter what you guys say, he was part of the process that got Naija music to where it is today, same with the likes of Kennys music, 2face, Dbanj and rest. Guess you guys forgot, after that issue 50 cent and Idris shared the stage together the following year or so can't really remember (first of it kind) having an international artiste on the stage with a Nigerian artiste at the same time and 50cent watched and danced to Idris's song from the beginning to the end. Idris might have done whatever he did on that plane for his selfish gain but don't take it away from him, he contributed to what we all are enjoying now.

Forget sentiments, there are way too many artistes speaking ill of Eedris. One can also clearly see these things in his attitude whenever he speaks and acts. I remember when the news of eedris fighting 50 cent came out, why didnt any of the artist then come out and say, Eedris didnt fight 50cent. Everyone allowed the narrative to go on which i believe eventually killed eedris career. If my oga daddy showkey, charly boy, Eddie, paul, all these OGs who have come out to debunk the news now. Why didnt they do that then. It seems like everyone kept quiet and allowed the story to trend. I believe that narrative ended eedris career. Also, if Eedris didnt really fight 50cent we also need to know the truth. But as it is, many people are saying Eedris didnt fight 50cent, i believe many people cant be lying at the same time.
