No mainline EFAP episode this week, we are still ahead of the numbers for the coming anniversary. We will be using the slot to record another memefap to try and catch up there. However, we thought we would give you folks an EFAP movies in its place... on Dead Space. You all know Dead Space... I'm sure this will be entirely familiar to you and you don't even need the copyright protection... it's that... GREAT! #HailTinpan
its been damn near a year since mauler uploaded to his main and instead of working on a vid for an hour and a half he chooses to watch the most irrelevant movie they could find. what a fucking joke
Bryan Cranston is the only actor who could deliver such pseudoscience as "the only way to kill the virus is to create a deadlier virus" and almost make it seem plausible
That weird moment when you find out the coronavirus was made in a lab in order to study super viruses so that treatment plans could be devised for potential naturally occurring super viruses
_”I am not in Dead Space, Skylar… _*_I AM THE DEAD SPACE!_*_ A guy goes into the fog, gets an alien in his nose… And you think that out of me? NO… I AM THE ONE WHO FOGS!!”_
Long Kong: gets superchar requested every efap for at least 3 years, to the point of being memed, no video Dead Space: Mentioned in one superchat, efap movies only a few months later
@@valentinegonsalves7322I didnt even need to check the description to know. His editing style is jsut really distinct and ti helps that I watched the gollum compilation reccently XD
I honestly would love to see an EFAP Movies of both Ghost Rider (2007) & Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. Not only because Ghost Rider recently turned 50 years old, but because of Nic Cage’s glorious overacting. It would be a lot of fun.
As silly as those films are, I have to concede I enjoyed seeing a massive earth moving excavator possessed by hellfire. You don't get that from Disney Marvel.
@@MediumRareOpinions this is true. I honestly think most non-MCU films are very entertaining and has more effort put into them than most of the modern MCU films. Plus, it’s just cool seeing Ghost Rider on screen. Something we sadly may never see again unless Sony can buy the movie rights back from Marvel.
@@EpicJasonX9000 speaking of the effort I'm sure I heard from behind the scenes material that Nic Cage was a big Ghost Rider fan so it probably helped give the production some drive.
@EpicJasonX he was in Agents of Shield recently. I think Disney is planning on using him for the Midnight Sons once they put Blade out. If they ever do.
_Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance_ is in the same camp as _Chronicles of Riddick._ I get why no one watched it and assumed it would be terrible; but I frankly adore that movie for the shoestring budget passion project it is. And you can't go wrong with drunk French satanist-hunting priest Idris Elba.
Rags v Wolf over pants. Rags v Fringy over who unmuted first, and Fringy gets the Space Koala Astronaut for winning. Russian National Anthem meme. This is Wolf in the editing bay, turning a random movie reaction into a time capsule and one for the EFAP lore books.
I was about to disagree with you but as I read your comment, the nudity scene happened and everything about that felt like it was pulled from best of the worst
@@TheEpicWolf64 He's been handling the edits for the recent EFAP reacts and this video as well. Wolf's sense of humor is right in the DNA of the editing style and I love it.
YES! YES! THE RANDOM CUTS TO OTHER MEDIA CLIPS, THE SNAP FREEZE FRAME RUSSIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM JOKE, THE KOALA ASTRONAUT MEME, HE EVEN HAD A VTUBER/ANIME CHICK SWEARING.
In Russia, if hand is rotten, you cut off hand. If arm is rotten, you cut off arm. But if heart is rotten... you cut off leg. This is Russian love song.
Never thought I would see the day you guys finally watch a Roger Corman film. You guys should watch Battle Beyond The Stars, Carnosaur, or even the 90’s Fantastic 4.
@@EpicJasonX9000 The 2005 film is my guilty pleasure, and while I think it’s a better movie, FF 94 has an undeniable charm and heart, and there’s never going to be a marvel movie like it again.
@@amusingmoose9924 which is probably why it’s better than the 2005 film despite never being released. Charm can raise a film to higher standards since the people making it clearly put in their all, and honestly I wouldn’t mind see in this film get cleaned up & officially released since it’s so much better than it’s reputation. Even the guys at RedLetterMedia loved it and they had to compare it to both Supergirl and the 90’s Captain America film.
The main actor in this, Marc Singer, played Dar in the 1982 fantasy classic The Beastmaster. He was even more Kevin Bacon in that movie, if possible. Fantastic.
Honestly, Wolf being a recurring editor for EFAP stuffs could be a good way for him to remain a part of the show without having to return to the poison that is most social media, I’m all for it if it works for him! His editing style is quite fun
11:59 Hi Rags! Judging from the context and the shot, that is not a candle, but rather an alcohol lamp, commonly used as a portable alternative to a Bunsen burner where a steady source of natural gas is not available. It's essentially a glass bottle filled with alcohol (usually ethanol) with a cotton wick that draws up the fuel. You then seal the bottle with a screw-on top that's attached near the top of the wick and proceed to ignite the top of the wick once it is fully soaked in ethanol. This design allows a controlled burn, is generally safe, and usually produces a constant flame much like a Bunsen burner, but having worked with them in the past, the flame that they produce can flare up spontaneously, particularly as the lamp gets more worn/older. I've seen those flames rage up as high as about 6-8 inches on older lamps, at which point you either rush to cap it in time or (if a fire starts on the top of the bottle) you move the bottle away from everything else and pray. Considering that you're dealing with flammable fumes/liquid and the nature of the design, I would highly recommend capping it. Trying to blow it out like a candle is a particularly unsafe idea and, in the worst case scenario, would catch your lab on fire.
I like how this one time some guy asks about the dead space movie and they watch it. But how many times has that other guy asked for a kongfap and not got it?
Depends on the date. Remember besides the Snyder Cut videos these movies and tv videos release a while after this stuff. That dude could have asked before EFAP 100 while I think the Kong dude hasn’t been doing it that long.
I am 50% sure that we say a pair of pants because pants used to come as two separate legging pieces. The default leg coverings back when this was true were either dresses (for both men or women) or hoes (mostly for men when worn visibly). Some Native Americans had similar garmets. I hope that clears things up.
This video is a masterclass of editing. I had so much fun just waiting for what the editor was going to do next. This was extraordinarily well done and one of the most entertaining EFAP Movies! Thank you!!
I think it's brilliant. It illustrates the permance of literal suicide. I'm not one to joke shame, but it *is* a serious topic. It's not that I'm saying the joke shouldn't have been made, I'm saying it's nice in a way that even in joke form, there is a permanence that carries forward in time just like the act itself.
If you guys are on the "random movies with Bryan Cranston in them" arc, may I suggest the Street Fighter 2 animated movie? He plays Fei Long, the SF equivalent to Bruce Lee, so you get to hear Bryan Cranston do a whole bunch of crazy kung fu yells.
Marc Singer(Baconator Sr, since he's older than Kevin Bacon) actually had a pretty solid TV/movie career. He was the Beastmaster and in the original run of V, the show about lizard aliens disguised as humans that was cancelled because it was too close to reality. Met him at a convention once and he was a really nice guy.
You have no idea how happy that made me when you guys nerded out to Power Rangers In Space. That was indeed one of their top 3 theme songs along with the original and Lost Galaxy.
This was a surprising delight to watch. Hope we get to see more efap movies of random junk that no one has ever heard of. A different change of pace, but a welcome one
I don't know what you're talking about. This movie is a classic. How can you not connect with such stellar characters as Dotted Jacket Man, and Spiral Earrings Lady aka Typing Lady, Random Humanoid because sci-fi movie, and...Bryan Cranston.
So good to see Wolf contribute his editing and humor to the efap editors roster! Great breath of fresh air too. Sticking with ghost Jay and bloodied Fringy through the entire thing was such a fun choice!
note to the editor: those little snippet where you replace the talker's avatar by say a short clip of gollum , within the context of the conversation, those are brilliantly funny. GOOD JOB ^^
Blast from the past with the Wolf v Rags debate. Also, I see this is edited by Wolf. I had a feeling, given how Fringy gets the Koala Astronaut meme for unmuting. That was pure gold and reminds me of Wolf's TLJ video.
My dad rented this back in the early 90s. Probably around 91. There wasn't much to rent that night and he thought it looked interesting. I started watching it with him, I knew it was probably going to be bad. The moment I saw it had footage from Battle Beyond the Stars, I gave up and did something else. Didn't remember what it was called until you showed it. Dead Space was an appropriate title for this film.
I'm really sad that I wasn't able to get a copy of Wolf's book when it came out, but seeing that he's editing the newest EFAP Movies brings a smile to my face! Glad to see you again, my N-word!
I'm so happy that EFAP Movies are back...I legitimately thought that they were only doing the Halloween Specials seeing how 41 was 8 months ago but they are back and hopefully more to come!🙏
The movie was (somewhat obviously) direct to tv and video. It's a remake of the 1982 film Forbidden World, but the characters and places were renamed and there's fairly minor other differences. It was shot in three weeks and didn't have the budget for more refined looking credits. The production name for it was Biohazard, so it has a connection to both our favorite zombie survival horror franchises. The opening space battle sequence isn't original, but is footage that's reused from the 1980 film Battle Beyond the Stars. How does one have a battle BEYOND the stars? I don't know.
You know, the mention of Bryan Cranston doing this film before Malcolm in the Middle reminded me: Giancarlo Esposito went on to Once Upon A Time after Breaking Bad. Y'all should check that show out, it's FASCINATING to compare what a Disney live action show was like before the D+ era.
I miss the days when bad movies were like this, where you kinda have to go out your way to find them because they are never shown on TV or whatever. Now bad movies take center stage, but at least they are visually better... usually.
That anime opening background, plus the line "(...) back in 91 when anime was good" have made me realize I once again need to recommend y'all Legend of the Galactic Heroes. It's old, with some wonky animation, and it's a bit of a slow burn, but its honestly incredible.
It's great to see Wolf editing, I hope he's doing well! I especially liked his inclusion of the Order 66 music when the robot died, but I do think there were a few too many cutaways in the first half. Anyways, I'm looking forwards to more appearances from Wolf in the future.
