Joe I like your teaching it reminds me of when I used to teach the Hog and the Ma . We never had the use of videos like yours we would teach hands on only . I am building a my dmx to use in my shop as I no longer do programming . At 66 years old I still need some thing to do to keep myself bizzy as I am retired. So I am building a small rig to use as like a video game . Great work and keep it up .

great video thanks...on my dmx 3 can you also make a scene with say beams, spots and pars? do you just grab them all at the same time when you start to build the scene or do one after another?
Hey Joe, first Thx fort this super video's. I was making a collor effect with mydmx2.0 but my 4 scanners ( Alo 60 led scanners) with 8 dmx channels that i selected from the list are nog the same as in real. In the program is the color fader the dimmer fader in real.. So i must chance the fader , is this pocibeale? Greats from belgium
Hi Joe when I add 2 effects or more how can I adjust the time individually? At the moment if I adjust the time to 1 effect it applies to all effects... Thanks for your help
Hey man! Thank you for these tutorials! I was wondering how much performance does My DMX use from your computer? Is it risky to use My DMX on the same MacBook pro as traktor for djing at the same time for example?
Is there a way to slow down effects live? For example, if I set a scene to rainbow, is it possible to speed up the change and slow down the change during a live show to adjust to the tempo of the music? I don't think there is which is unfortunate... this would be a great feature!!!!!
Hey Joe, How can you set up a pan effect on moving heads and have Par lights color fade as well? I set up the screen but when I it play the pars go off and the movers start to pan.
I am really getting the hang of this now, 1 question, whilst Ive been building scenes with various lights so far I have set each type of light as a single fixture until I am happy with it all. Is there a way I can copy all the attributes so I can add them to the setup without having to remember and write down my settings.
+Bryan Smith In case I didn`t explain properly each time a practiced setting a new fixture I set each one as a new setting but set each one as channel 1. Can I re-arange them now ??
Hi Joe, when i place a matrix over my fixtures, nothing happends. They only seem to dim a little. Very strange. I have 2 inno pocket spots. I really don't know what i'm doing wrong...
Is it possible to use MYDMX with Cold Sparklers???? I have the Blitzz FX and i am looking to set this up to heat up and launch on myDMX.I have wireless DMX dongles, is this possible?
Hallo, I have a problem. I created a scene containing three effects: 1) position effect (2 moving heads) 2) curve effect (2 moving heads) associated with the "color wheel" channel 3) color effect (n.4 par led) I save the three effects in a file, when I reload the file the effects of the moving heads are not applied, only the color effect is applied to the 4 par led. Also, when I export the effects to the scene, the effects of the moving heads do not perform. Thank you
So I know that the myDMX buddy has limited dmx channels and no midi capability, but is it limited in the effects engine? Or does it have the same full effect features as the standard mydmx2.0 interface.
+DJ Fayze I don't own one so can't confirm but according to the ADJ website the only limitations are the channel limit, No 3D visualizer, No Easy Remote and no Midi features
+Pedro alcacer Mackinlay It should be faily easy to insall. Make sure you go to "System Preferences > Security > Privacy > General" and then set 'Allow Apps Downloaded From' to anywhere
