Channel no 5 put me in hospital for 2 days & had a CT scan done because of mucus buildup in my head causing a headache for 6 months. A co worker wouldn’t stop using it . I have antihistamines permanently now the stuff is everywhere . It’s good the message is getting out there & people are starting to listen.
We live in a society that has desensitized its olfactory glands and can no longer realize how strongly they smell. The commercials about all of the colognes, body sprays, women's perfume even on to your car with the air polluting pine tree hanging from your mirror poisoning you by the second! You cannot go to church without gagging from all that gassing garbage that people pass of as a nice smell! Pour it all in a bag and breathe it...see how long till you hit respiratory arrest!!!😖😣😵🤢🤮 Laundry detergent, laundry sheets, fabric softeners all continue to emit pollution long after the dryer cycle! Dr.s warn that ozone generators/ionizers exacerbate asthma. Perfumes are much smaller particulates than dust, dander, smoke. Given that, would it not seem to make sense that limited ionic bursts could knock down these perfume particulates (I'm not talking a constant bombardment either for the knee-jerk "that's an irritant to asthma" folks). I have stopped going to church. At times, I have stopped a grocery shopping trip and left a shopping cart full of groceries due to the perfume pollution just one dowsed person puts out! After bathing in 38 bottles of bubble bath, followed by powder puffing down below and then dumping 8 drops of EsteeLauder on every protrusion of themselves! They leave a chem-trail that most jet airliners would envy!!! STOP IT! IT'S INSANE! I have to lock myself in our bedroom burning matches to burn all the acetal aldehyde and camphor smells that are locked in her shampoo and conditioner. The whole house smells of that and my lungs hurt from it! Even my inhaler doesn't really help because it's overwhelming! I am buying an ozone machine to run briefly when my wife uses cleaning products or comes out if the shower! There has to be some way to effectively knock down these polluting odors. Life is miserable with all this garbage purifying the air! Has anyone with extreme sensitivity to smells tried knocking it down with Ionization? Oh BTW - Febreeze is an extreme pollutant! It gives me an asthma attack. It used to be called "Smells Be Gone"
Your comment is worrying. Fox or no Fox, fragrance exposure is a serious problem snd extremely debilitating for more people than you imagine. I don’t like your joke.
I’m not one for over involvement with gov regulations but something somehow has to be done. People are forced to endure fragrance exposure everywhere- at work in their homes. And the law says people have a right to use their products and cleaning products. These products travel through walls floors and woodwork. Vents everything. They have ways of finding where you didn’t even know there were any and they are designed to linger. It is horrible and the law does not protect people.
Blah blah blah. Move to a third world country if this worries you and then you can worry about something real. I wear fragrances everyday but I will spray less or change what I wear if a family member or coworker talks to me respectfully. If coworker comes at me disrespectful I will purposely spray more then normal the next day until that person either comes at me aggressively or comes at me like an actual human and doesn't demand it but asks. I will not be respectful if the other person isn't.
@@frankcastle2814 your wife thinks otherwise... What I said is real. Respecting someone isn't a difficult thing. Give respect to get respect, it's that simple. Also the first comment that started this thread was talking about government involvement in colognes which they actually are and certain ingredients get banned. Us Americans are privileged and feel that others should change if they don't like something and that is wrong.
Well it may some day affect your kids and yourself in a variety of ways down the line. Don’t be so secure because you have 6 kids. These chemical are very toxic. No joke.
Well I think that the Doctor just promoted the fragrances. You can get clean without using fragrances. I have asthma and my trigger is fragrances. It is very difficult to avoid all of the fragrance and this is mostly due to the fact that people think that if their products don't have fragrance that they can't get clean. I call BS. I agree with R Lee, it's not funny to people that suffer with MCS/EI.
The people who should be worried primarily, are the people who wear perfumes and colognes, not really the people who smell it. And for those who, like me, loves wearing fragrance, spray pulse points in a ventilated area. Also, try to alternate with healthier alternatives like perfume oil which contains no harmful chemicals as it is usually only a base oil such as jojoba, or almond and essential oils. Fox is garbage, and reports on things like this, to distract viewers from what's REALLY going on.
No you are wrong about that. The person wearing it may not even be noticeably affected while the people exposed are suffering debilitating reactions they cannot escape from due to people like you. What you need is to keep researching. You have no idea how such you could be making people and many even suffer in silence or the law does not protect them. I don’t mean to over react to your comment but it disgusts me - I do not mean that personally towards you in any way. You just do not know what people are going through it’s like being physically assaulted. Very serious matter.
This is horrible problem!!!! For those of us who have extreme inflammatory response to this crap!! She is right if your smell violates your 18 inch bubble you have too much. And don’t kid yourself. Most people just get defensive, ignorant and rude when you ask them, no matter how politely not to wear their perfumes. This is a country in love with their chemical perfumes and a significant number of us or absolutely tortured and disabled by this horrible stuff please everyone stop wearing perfumes.
Scent free Laundry products please people every time you wash you deposit more of that synthetic crap in your clothes until you smell like you’ve dumped four bottles of perfume on yourself every day. And you can’t smell it because you’re in it all the time, just smokers houses and clothing smell, and they can’t tell.
People today are so weak that everything bothers them, but half of them come to work with sheet marks on their faces, meaning they have not showered that morning ❤❤❤but they are complaining about someone that's showered and smelling amazing 😂😂😂😂
Worry about letting your dog kiss you in the mouth 👄 more than fragrances. Those people who complain about work place fragrances are the same people who let their cats climb on the kitchen counter after walking in their liter box and let their dog lick them in the mouth after they clean themselves. 😂😂😂😂😂
