Fml! Not sure where to start from. A young guy. Confident with a reason. Selfless in sharing of professional tips&tricks. Über precise. Makes his own (invents & improve) stuff. And yes ... all of that and ZERO cockiness. A true example for DIYers, PROs and younger generations to come. Great job. All the best!
i know im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Merrick Christian I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Every once in a while a person comes along that is truly exceptional and shares their knowledge. As a 25 year vet of the trade I can say that you are certainly one of those people. A young Jim chestnut if you like. Cheers
Amazing miter saw set-up. I really like what you did. One stop set up for cutting crown and coping at the end. I have been doing it wrong for so long. I’m glad I found you bro. Thank you!
Just started my biggest job yet. 25 windows and 18 doors + baseboard all around the house. I gotta say as soon as i get some free time im making these wings. I quickly realized how important a precise stop block is needed when trimming out window jambs and casings with repeated cuts where windows are all the same dimensions. Thank you so much for sharing this information and knowledge !
Spencer you are a true craftsman. I learn something new every time watch one of your stories or videos. I agree with the post earlier this is the best miter saw setup. Who makes the tall fence on your miter saw? Keep up the great work. Thanks
Been looking forward to this video, glad you made it. Fortunately I did not wait to build my own set of wings, but now I will be making some revisions for sure! Thanks
Yes, I have looked at your more recent videos. I just purchased a new 12" Makita slider, as my Kapex cannot accommodate the size of an extensive crown moulding assembly in a new home I am building. 3 piece assembly, all Sapeli...wish me luck. SteelToeStillettos
Just wow, that is amazing. I'm a trim carpenter and have recently been thinking about trying to do this. I have quite a bit to research to get started but it looks like a very satisfying form of woodwork.
2 years into looking for something that works after forty years of wooden boxes. Florida destroys all of it. Cut hub is high, EZ speedy has no support table and these wood stands get destroyed in Florida humidity. Looks like a new wood stand every year is still the order of the day. Nice setup....for up north. Dig your IG page bro. Cheers!!
Please make a step by step teaching to make these wings put a link part by part to buy it. Your video is amazing but it kind of confusing. These wings are amazing.
Spencer love your channel. You’re doing what i enjoy doing just so much better I’m pretty sure I’ve seen all your videos and used your links to get myself what I need to build my own wings. You mentioned on one of your videos a sketch up you have for your material racks! Is that available somewhere?
These are really killer! I copied Justin's a few months ago and they rest on the extension arms built into the saw stand. What made you opt for the leg design instead? I'm strongly considering a swap after watching this fast set-up time.
I went with the fold down legs because I wanted support without any deflection. I don't use and side support stands with the setup I have now, which I really like. The downside is that my wings are very heavy.
Man that is super cool. I built a version of these for my Dewalt on a rolling stand you’d get a kick out of. The connecting brackets were by far the hardest part to design. Did you ever consider the FastCap Best Fence? I looked through hundreds of hours of videos when making them and your video never came up. If you got an email I could send you some pictures?
Hey dude. I have slowly built towards being able to build these wings, I have all the material for it, the stands the hinges for the stands. I'm now looking to buy the little stuff, the knobs the tape, t track, but what about those swivel hinges you use? would you mind linking those? as well as the magnets you used? also, is there a durable finish you would suggest to coat the wings with?
Question for you Spencer. I’ve noticed there is a trend to get away from fences on the left and right side of the miter saw due to stock that doesn’t have a perfectly flat or straight edge causing the angle of the cut to be off a degree or so. Have you had any issues like this with your setup? Ron
Do all you do is Trim? Idk people make a living off that. Where I live there is barely any trim work. Unless it’s new construction. Not many new houses going up either.
