Currently using perlite method to propagate. So far so good. Sometimes I leave propagations in perlite. Great video propagation in soil 🎉 thanks for sharing 👍🏾

Thank you for the explanation. I’ve this plant in a small pot. Can I use the old soil & mix it with a new one?

Hi Banozaki, Execellent question! Yes, you can use old soil but l would add a bit of slow release fertiliser to make sure there is enough nutrients in the soil . Also remove any broken roots in the soil as the broken roots will rot. Aldo only reuse if you don't see and pest on the plant. Happy Lipstick plant Gardening ❤

Propagation works with water too?

Hi Pragya, Water Propagation will work but harder to transfer from water to soil as the Cutting end up growing water roots so need to make sure the soil stays moist for 2-3 week then gradually reduce the watering schedule down. I just happen to prefer growing the Cutting directly into soil, no need acclimate from water to soil. Give it a try. Thanks for the question. Happy Lip stick propagation ❤️
