That is a nice saber, it looks like it was originally designed to hold a tube/blade. I personally love the V2 weathered Luke version. Very cool though, congrats!
Nice review, I just got one from Spec Fiction (May The 4th 20% off sale)...my first lightsaber prop ever, I love it! Now I'm just concerned about the rabbit hole I may have just entered 😆
I’m excited for mine! This will be my first licensed saber. I actually ordered a custom plaque to replace the one it comes with that will be signed by Mark Hamill. The timing with him signing in SF is to perfect.
You will love it. I got the Hamill signature as well. I just chose to keep it generic so I could put it with something else I am getting of his in the future. Congrats on your purchase!
Man I tell you what. If you're a Star Wars fan who enjoys or at least can tolerate the newest stuff? Woah. Life's pretty freaking good. And if you love lightsabers? Ohhh. My sibling in savior. My mate in messiah. My brother in Skywalker. Life's really good. Classics, AND new stuff, new characters, new histories, just an ocean of new tech and sabers to hyperfixate on Not as good as life for...say...Oligarchs and Texas Rangers fans right now, for example , but still really good.
Beautiful Saber. I've always been a fan of Luke's Saber having grown up in the 80s but I like the v2 better. I feel like the v2 is the actual hero Saber since it was used the most in the movie. The activation box on the hero just seems way to big.
It sure looks nice. Myself, I prefer something that you can do some sparring with. I got myself a Hasbro Elite FX Darksaber (something like that, the expensive one). It sure looks nice, but does nothing but display on its stand. I somewhat really regret buying it, because even this is not really worth it to me. In the future, I will get myself a Baylan Skoll lightsaber for duelling. Still have to do a good bit of research, as I have no idea which company in Germany offers good quality lightsabers.
Ah I can't deny that my smile and the lightup of a lightsaber go hand in hand. This one here is more like a museum piece for me. But yea man give me flashy lights and loud sounds every day of the week and 5 times on the weekends lol.
