Do you know there are several types of taste Egg roll? Today, we’re going to make sweet one using sugar and savory one using Dashi. Dashi usually means Broth of bonito or kelp in Japan but you can also use other broth like Chicken stock or Vegetable stock. I will also show you how you can make beautiful egg roll without using a square pan!

I like that Moe was considerate of her foreign viewers by mentioning using the chicken stock if you can't find Dashi, or showing us how to use a regular round pan instead of the square pan for the egg roll, because most of us probably don't have a square pan just to make egg roll (I was thinking of getting one but after watching this, I'll stick to my usual frying pan). Thank you Moe!

I found one pretty cheap at the Asian market. You can try it on there one day. It does make it a neater rolled piece like you see on sushi.

This is what inspired her. She has lived and traveled overseas and found availability lacking. My grandma got very creative with substitutions when she first moved to the states. Moe wants people who have no access to have the ability to try things for themselves. I love that.

True, as to buy dashi I need to travel for 1h and 1/2 and I don't think is the best quality one anyways. Online is always sold out.

For most children, a kids' TV program or a toy pacifies them but for Sutan, it's cracking eggs. For Moe, it looks like that's the key to get Sutan to relax. It sure made her sleepy pretty quickly afterwards. She looks like a little angel when she naps. :)
