You will need to frozen the cookie dough before baking. Importantly is preheated the oven to 150C without fan. An oven thermometer is the only reliable way to know what's happening inside your oven, bake for 15-20 minutes depends on your cookie size.
Don't cook them immediately. Before baking, Cover and place them in the freezer for 30 minutes, until firm up or refrigerate overnight.they will keep shape much better.

That's why a lot of chocolate chip cookie dough recipes require 30 mins in the freezer. I think this serves the same purpose as to 24 hours. But, letting the dough rest overnight could allow for a firm, but airy cookie - Only one way to find out.

You can get basically all the batter off by lifting the mixer over everything and letting it spin. This will shake everything off the blades. I don’t waste any batter that way.
