cake flour is just a low gluten wheat flour. You should be able to use white all purpose flour for most recipes calling for cake flour.

Don't cook them immediately. Before baking, Cover and place them in the freezer for 30 minutes, until firm up or refrigerate overnight.they will keep shape much better.

You can make cake flour by sifting one cup of AP flour five times remove one tbsp flour add one tbsp corn starch, mix well.

I wouldn't do that. It changes the texture. However, you can make your own powdered sugar using normal sugar, corn starch, and a blender.

That's why a lot of chocolate chip cookie dough recipes require 30 mins in the freezer. I think this serves the same purpose as to 24 hours. But, letting the dough rest overnight could allow for a firm, but airy cookie - Only one way to find out.

I am not a fan of Costa. It's a gift from Christmas and I just like the mug size, quality and mouth feel when drinking coffee or tea.

You can get basically all the batter off by lifting the mixer over everything and letting it spin. This will shake everything off the blades. I don’t waste any batter that way.

@@StayGold711 there IS something called deeper bowls than what you probably use. GOOGLE IT. You'd be surprised at how much the world has changed.
