The quietness is a big plus for me-cutting early in the morning without waking everyone up all around. I like that it is ready to go all the time. My gas saws just sit now.
These electric saws are really awesome.. A pretty much been using this thing all Winter a couple times a week... Definitely the way to go if you don't have to use a saw every day
Very nice saw you got. My needs are much different than yours on a farm. A couple years ago I bought a Kobalt 12 inch bar saw. 40v lithium ion. Very good saw for what I need to do basic yard work. I rarely have anything over 6 inch branches to cut. Mainly use it for much smaller stuff and it cuts it like butter. And like you said, no noise, no gas, easy and quick to use. I got my saw because I was tired of using loppers and hand saw.
If you're in the 40 V line I was just at Lowe's and they reduced their 600 PSI cordless pressure washers to $33 from 150. Figured I'd give you heads up
Appreciate it. I thought I saw that in your last vid. But the yellow sticker said $74 from 150. They must have reduced it further. Great deal, but I don't really have a need for one. Next year when I need one.. i don't have it. Haha. Thanks again. I still might run over to Lowes to see if they have any fire sales
If I had less property I would go green but I have 30 acres 20 of it is woods I have nothing against tool's like that if you need to take care of smaller job's definitely not locust that wood is hard on my STILHS ✌️
@@ScrapFarm Nice. Sorry, I'm asking because I just ordered one from Amazon and it came in - the oil reservoir smelled gross, where I would have imagined it would smell like nothing (or plastic) and there were some scuffs on the blade and housing. Just wondering if I got sold a used chainsaw as new.
No.... Some of these newer batteries will light up when they get temperature sensitive like too hot or too cold the light will light up on the push button and stay on it's happened to me a couple times.... The customer service is pretty good with this company they're usually pretty good about sending you a replacement just make sure you go on the website and register the tool in battery and if it begins to be an issue send it back I think they offer 3 years on the battery 5 years on the tool
Yes but I'm just in the camp that we're a long way away from making a viable commercial grade electric lawn mower it takes a lot of horsepower to cut grass especially when it's tall a normal maintenance cut shure... they're also pretty damn expensive
@@ScrapFarm ok cool, i have ego mower and blower and love them. Tje saw u have looks like it cuts good. I personally think ego is the best battery stuff out there.
@@paulpersons799 I really think it's good stuff too I just like the fact that the company refused to reduce its quality and had to leave Home Depot & a new contract with Lowe's that's badass in my book and worth the extra money. And realistically all this stuff is not that far from each other unless you're buying Festool.in price i mean
