That's too bad that you've had that experience. Although I've never had a chainsaw that didn't leak some bar oil. My Ego one does leak small amounts, but no more than any gas powered one I've owned.
Every chain saw I've used over 50 years "leaks" bar & chain oil. After all, it's designed to auto feed oil during operation. Unless you've developed a crack in the filler neck or resevoir, or the cap isn't sealing, just use a drip pan under the saw when not in use.
I cant believe you talked for 14 mins in this video and only made just a couple cuts with the saw. Put the thing to work and show it being really used!!!
