Great little mower, had mine for a couple of years but run a 7.5AH battery. Does back and front lawns and still has a couple of bars left on the battery, and the collection is really good in the right conditions. 👍

Good introduction Greg, I do the handle thing to get the box on and off, also as I’m old(er) I find it good to use on small lawns 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Can’t beat freebies. That’s a big ego you got there 😄

Need a big ego 😂. Freebie which needs to be returned end of year isn’t best but better than nothing

Be interested to see how you go with it. I have a the 50cm Ego with a steel deck, it's my "Go to" for certain situations but totally useless for others. Pros as I've found them: Quick, quiet, reliable, very lightweight. It's he best mower I've ever used for bumpy ground - it just glides over it. Great for cutting back dry areas, particularly with side shoot on. Battery life ok (I have a few though). Folds down quickly and easily, feels sturdy. Cons: Absolutely pathetic on lush new turf, especially if even slightly damp - I never use it at new builds - it just can't deal with it, even just trimming 3-4cm off - it's actually embarrassing. Conclusion: A very handy member of the fleet but really limited on dense lawns.

Thanks for that. Be nice if this had side chute. Maybe aimed at bagging so has a smooth deck. I’ll see if I can try it on new lush growth. 👍🏻

Looking forward to the end of season review. Would love to switch to battery mowers but i just don’t think they are there yet for commercial use….say your mowing 20+ lawns a day. Battery life would be an issue. Be good to see how well they bag in the wet or overgrown lawns too.

Not a bad mower cuts nice but you do have to get your skates on before the battery runs out but I am using a 5ah battery weather the 7 or 12 would last a lot longer will have to wait and see, I’ll let you know when I get one as there so expensive . Your better off walking with it rather than using the self propelled as that also runs down your battery quick also I find the blade get’s blunt very quickly not as strong as the Hayter pro 41 blade. Lovely mower to do your own lawn I brought the roller for it but never bothered putting it on as I feel that would be another item which would run the battery down quick. Don’t try cutting the grass long in one go start from the top and work down to save your battery time.

7.5 is 50% larger then 5.0. 12.5 is a LOT bigger Anyone buying one I'd recommend only getting the mower with the 7.5 then picking up a leaf blower kit with a 5.0 for almost the same price as batteries. I mow for like 45 mins on my 7.5 and it doesn't die but starts to get close but have the backup 5.0 if I ever need it I also use the self propelled but it's a light machine don't really need it as much as I did with gas but already have the feature so why not lol

hi Greg how many batteries have you got with the mower?

Hello. One 5ah battery comes in the kit. Time will tell how long it lasts. Thanks for watching.

@@GregsMowing they might as well hit it with a hammer before giving it to you. If you have 2 batteries and a rapid charger you can keep going all day. I charge as I go at my jobs. It costs them a tiny bit on electric but they gain back no fumes and far less noise. which is great for houses with pets and babies. 1 place I work at one of their grandchildren cries when he cuts the lawn. With his petrol mower yet wanted to watch me cut the lawn.

Still petrol mowers for me, I don't think battery mowers can compete if used commercially on a daily basis, in all weather.
@GregsMowing

Probably right these. There’s no mower under egos commercial list of tools. But these are used by a few commercially. Depends how you treat tools I suspect. I know some councils use them. Time will tell.
