Hey brother I got the same engine and there is not much on RU-vid about them so far it’s a good engine. How many kms do you service your oil and fuel filter? And if there’s anything else I should know I only had it for 800km
Mine for 304.000km, very healthy engine, oil change every 5000km religiously. The diesel pump died at 270.000km which was an expensive fix, to extend its life replace the Fuel filter every 10k. Cheers
Gday mate, did this keep working for you or did you need to drill a hole in the plate? I keep reading that if it is completely blocked it'll switch into limp mode.
Eventually will raise a P0400 code and go into limp at around 100km/hr which can be driven through via foot flat until the light clears ( 2 - 5 seconds) My work pig took 3 years before the dreaded fault lamp lit up 😏 One day i'll either sell it or get the ECU remapped and the code trigger deleted.
