All I can see is Doomguy covered in blood, breathing heavily, a wall of hellfire behind him, the head of a Barron in one hand, and the super shotgun in the other.
Best version of Sign of Evil ever. Mick Gordon himself must hire you to do some tracks for the next Doom soundtrack! Take no prisoners and continue kicking ass with these remixes. Plus major props on you version of E1M7's theme too.
Dude, you need to send this to ID and have them put it in Doom 4. Imagine hearing this on the last level; it would be so epic. E1M8 has always been my favorite level and song... It gave you a hint to what's to come in the other episodes - shivers down one's back... I have a pretty massive collection of doom games (from shareware to 3 BFG) and memorabilia. I'll probably put a small speaker in the showcase and have this song playing with a flip of a switch. Well done brotha!
I've just played through Doom (original, not 2016) for the first time, and after hearing the haunting soundtrack of Sign of Evil that was such a contrast to the usual angry metal, I quickly started looking up covers. Yours is the best so far!
awesome work, i love so much your version of Sign Of Evil. This is much better what the version appears in Doom Metal Vol 4. Your version kicking asses!!
EGT you are my platonic love interest and i love this damn frkn song... we dont deserve your talent, thanks for making all these awesome remakes/remixes; you bring life into the dead, and thats something not many people achieve; literally or not >w
When playing the shareware version of Doom for the first time, I remember how disappointed how I was when I ended the level Phobos Anomaly where this song plays after killing the two Barons of Hell when you end up stuck in a dark room full of monsters and presumably dead soon after. The words "Where's your fat reward and ticket home? It stinks like rotten meat but looks like the lost Deimos Base" always stayed. This song is scary and ominous as hell and you did a fine work of metalizing it.
Nice! This is one of my fave Doom tracks along with The Demons Dead and Nobody Told My About ID. Oh and barrels of fun... and Blood Falls... Ok so just Doom music in general lol!
This is one of my favorite Doom s songs. I've heard many mixes of it over the years but yours is easily the best performed version ever! Great work!!! I would love to see you tackle the Ironblood music tracks.
So fucken Shimmering! The drums and everything is perfect! The AXE is right on! Lots of Sustain and tone! I dont know pedals he uses but this is STRAIGHT ON SICC DOOM! The tone is good and full he is not looking for Speed what I like! Slow sometimes is BETTER! HDRAMBO DWANGO Approves! Shabash! Sustain!
Hey! DJ Shadow - Transmission!! I love that! Your videos are awesome, and it fit really well! If you dont mind me asking, i've seen you use a variety of guitars throughout your videos, do you have a favorite or one you'd recommend the most for a metal guitarist? Or do they each have their own quirks that make them good for certain things?
