Your mechanical injection is gonna make tons of power I am sure. But ultimately at your power level 8 coils and EFI is gonna be the hat trick. Easy cylinder to cylinder fuel and timing control an no over fueling/milking the oil ever. EFI may not make more power but it makes for a happy tuneup. Good luck.

And by the way, EGT temp means nothing, other than a reference point. You correlate a temp to a happy plug reading. Glad you upgraded the system.

Very nice! I was running about 26-28 psi with my bbc/14-71 on just hat injection and surprisingly the EGTs were pretty close. cylinder #4 was my hottest. made the switch to a K valve and direct port but also am going bigger engine. I'll be following along as you'll be running before me lol. please keep us updated! Great channel by the way!!!

Sounds good!!! I think much of my problem is how restrictive the TBS intake was with my delta discharge blower. I wish I had room to run a set back plate, but I don't. Stay tuned. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!

1150’ on methanol? I have methanol NA engines running hotter egts then that. My turbo car on e85 is at 1725’ through the lights and looks like new inside. Am I wrong about something here?

I dont run any hotter than 1075 on methanol. At 1200 we melted plug straps and at 1300 we were changing pistons. If I need .02 that bad I just turn up the boost or give it half degree of timing.

Are you reading Fahrenheit or Celsius? I ask because 1725° C is ruffly 1000° F. If you are reading it at that as F, I would be checking guages, egt, something because like mentioned, I'm suprised you ain't burned stuff up.

maybe how or where the probe is installed is skewing the reading. I run around 1200F with no issues but that's my limit. I shoot for 1150F.
