Giza, Egypt ➖ I woke up early to beat the Egyptian summer heat and explore the streets of Giza on a horse. After chatting to my hotel manager, he brought me to a local shop where I paid 300 EGP to have a horse for the morning.
The fellow showed me around the streets of Giza, and a look into local life. As the morning turned into day, I needed a new pair of sunnies to cope with the sun, just to my luck there was a street-side vendor that was selling just that.
After a bit of bargaining, I had a new pair of fake Ray-Bans and the journey through Giza continued!

Superb video Luke, I love Egypt and can’t wait to go back. You should try and spend a few nights in sharm but I don’t think you’ll experience the place to it should be due to tourism numbers being low. Stay safe man and keep the videos coming ❤️🤍🖤

Some countries are very expensive. Egypt isn't, just expect to pay tourist prices and don't feel bad. It's not scamming. Try going to Venice and paying $35 for a coffee. Or Switzerland €20 for a tea. Egypt is no big deal.

The people that sorround tourist places in egypt are the worse of the society and yes most of them are scammers; to be able to judge a population correctly you must meet the normal people in normal places, as happened to him when he was looking for a barber and a citizen escorted him for at least 30 minutes from barber to barber until he found one open and on top of that he waited for him to finish to check that everything was ok, categorically refusing to be tipped any money. Egyptian normal people are good and bad as in any country, he just happened to be in a very touristic place which are always crowded of scammers. P.S. I live in Italy and around the colosseum in Rome is the same thing, by your same logic does that mean that christians consider tourist prey?

That one is really stingy 🤣🤣 300 Egyptian pounds is like $16USD. Thats not bad for 1 hour. And the sunglasses for 100 were only $5. I know its cheaper for locals, but if Im travelling there to a poor country I dont mind paying alittle bit more. I but with that said I also don't like being followed and pushed into buying things. I will not buy from those people. Or the ones who dont give you an honest price up front.

It is not a scam; it is the art of salesmanship. Not any different to in America you pay upwards of 200% price mark ups regularly. You can purchase something for over $30 that took $1 and some change to produce in US. As a tourist it is known that items and services offered are at a higher price point because its not something you will have access to back home. Not a scam- rather supply and demand. Regardless of if you’re in the U.S., Egypt, Belize, Philippines, and anywhere in between. I’m sure Luke is well aware that he is purchasing at a higher price, and I believe that he is happy too. I believe he understands that people have struggles and I think he is happy to know he is helping people provide for their families and Luke is just grateful to travel and help others. Thank you Luke for always spreading happiness everywhere You go!

The worst thing you find in Egypt is a swindle of foreign tourists as well as Arab tourists. He was telling the glasses seller that he wanted to bring him 100 pounds, but the mean Australian tourist did not want to pay more than 80 pounds.

The Dubai segment with Dale Philip would have been sometime ago because he takes awhile to upload also in the Dubai video , Luke said he was only 20 and had to get authority from Dale Philip to enter the venue , in the video when he was in another country recently he said he was 21 year old so I think he will be in Egypt for awhile . It is very hard to travel back to Australia at the moment because flights are very reduced with very long waiting lists due to government restrictions on quarantine numbers so I think his adventures away from Australia will be ongoing for a long time to come
