In this video I demo the different ways I like to use the Electro-Harmonix Super Ego, Chase Bliss MOOD and Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master to create instant ambient guitar music.
Auto mode is cool too and good thing about it is it only triggers when signal going into it is high enough so its almost a touch sensitive effect.Gliis needs yo be up and level on superego.Try it
Word up.....I gotta spend more time in Auto Mode. Let the Super Ego do the work for me! I love a touch sensitive effect. Super Ego has more functions/versatile than I thought it would be 🎶
@@brianwaitzman It's awesome in Auto mode(almist gave up on auto) and you can play notes soft and be unaffected and then dig in if you want them to feeeze. With a long delay and a chorus in the loop with feedback up they almost bloom into an ambient soundscape.Key is to have gliss quite high and layers to taste. I also run a delay and reverb after the superego.Definately worth trying.I find latch mode difficult to get a consistent level on the notes frozen but thats probs my bad timing. Will try that again too.
Putting effects in the loop and delay/verb after takes the pedal to a different place......been enjoying the experiments with Super Ego for sure. I found hybrid picking helped get a more consistent volume in Latch mode🎶
