The 1st edition of the EI Process Safety (PSM) Framework published in 2010 is amongst the most commonly downloaded and referenced of the EI Technical publications. The second edition of the framework, published in April 2022, builds on the first edition by providing greater detail on how the framework can be sold into major hazards organisations and how it can be successfully implemented. The publication of the revised EI PSM framework has also prompted EI to jointly work with Stephen Bater (the author of the second edition) and Ian Travers ( an EI course tutor) in the development of a web based application, aimed at major hazards organisations, to assist in the monitoring and self-assessment of process safety performance.
In this one hour long webinar, Lee Allford (EI Technical Advisor) will join Stephen and Ian in providing a background to EI PSM framework and the guidelines for each of the 20 elements as well as the framework based tools. Stephen Bater is a HSE, process safety and leadership specialist, researcher and author. Ian Travers is a world renown expert on process safety management, leadership and the establishment and implementation of key performance indicators for major hazard industries. Lee Allford has substantial experience of supporting company member networks in the prevention of process safety incidents.
The webinar is aimed at those who have responsibility for process safety performance at a corporate, business and facility level.
