Waraqa bin Nawfal , cousin of Muhammad's wife, Khadija , must have been one of the inspirations for monotheistic thoughts as he was a christian. Quran must have been authored majorly by Muhammad. Many verse in Quran cater to his personal life like his fights with his wives or justifying his marriage with his adopted son's wife etc. And clealry Quran changes tone as per the situation/power of Muhammad vis a vis Meccans. Many different scribes may have been employed while many verse were just remembered by his companions. One of them Abdullah Ibn Sa'd Ibn Abi Sarh. He used to make suggestion while Muhammad asked him to write down revelation and accepted his suggestions, so he left Islam realizing that it could not be from God. But Quran in its present form was compiled by Uthman by collecting different written and oral records and he ordered that all other copies of Quran to be burnt.

lmao Zakir Naik is a dumbass who imagines that Islam is the best religion and the "truth". Too bad for him in real life, Islam is one of the least favorable religion to majority of the people in the world. That doesn't mean that i'm condoning your practice of that religion. But never give in to hubris that your religion is better than anybody else's or that you've got it right.

They dont follow it..they use it. Krishna in Gita says "fight for Dharma" some people would take it as a notion to fight those who do not belong to your Dharma. But by Dharma what he really means is Fight for what is right/ Fight against wrong. He also says before going on an all out war against "Adharma" or evil check whether that evil resides with in you and if soo start cleansing from inside. It is all about how people interpret it.
