I couldn't believe the fact that the emails of death threats were getting scrolled, probably hundreds and thousands of them and the video running was him laughing about it. One needs such mental strength to deal with the shit that comes with his privilege.

I've been watching Vir Das for 3 hours now. So much smarter and funnier than any comedian (or anyone really) from the west. Thanks for finding humor in the nuamces of life and not in the extremes like everyone else out there.

Whenever you listen to Vir, you laugh at the joke and at the same time realize how fucked up your country and tbh, everything has become. The amount of threats that were there is horrifying.

I've seen those videos of people calling vir a anti nationalist, anti hindu. I was like if you would have been a little "educated" you would have understood all the messages that he gives during the show. Vir Das, gotta say I agree with your outlook. I think you've got a great way of presenting & getting your point across. Although I was raised in middle America, Baptist, and pretty conservative, I don't agree with everything the Baptist teach. I'm in my late 50's, I'm pretty set in my ways, and no one is going to change me or my beliefs. However I also accept that it's a free country, and everyone's free to pursue whatever lifestyle they want, just don't mess with my life.
