EICHER PLANT IN PITHAMPUR, MP | Robots, modern processes dominate | Motown India 

Motown India’s Roy P Tharyan and Jisha P visit the #VolvoEicherC ommercialVehicles (#VECV) plant in Pithampur, near Indore in Madhya Pradesh and witness the production of #trucks at the plant. VECV had invited the #MotownIndia journalists.
Modern production processes dominate the plant. With modern robots and a large paint shop, the plant is one of India’s leading manufacturers of trucks and buses. This plant, in fact has competed 37 years in the month of June 2023. The first #Eicher truck was rolled out from its manufacturing plant here in 1986. The plant is spread over 87 acres of land with current installed capacity of 90,000 vehicles per annum.
