I read the book as a kid, and as a result Jinty and Pug are engrained into my memory. I remember feeling cheated when watching the show and seeing them recycling existing side characters. I get that they needed to save money on the models, but the crew could’ve used spare shells of Thomas and Percy, made single faces for each and sprayed the models black.

Why didn't they adapt ''Percy Takes The Plunge'' for Series 3 as it takes place after ''Percy's Promise'' as the reference suggests? In fact ''Percy's Promise'' along with ''Time For Trouble was originally planned for Series 2 anyway, I heard.

I wish Gordon Goes Foreign would be adapted if the they had the budget and would perfectly suit series 3.

I bugs me how they thought the missing coach would be too confusing for children, but think it’s completely fine to put Percy takes the Plunge well before Percy’s promise. Now that to me along with many others was confusing when I was a childhood and I have I missed something and was wondering what an earth Percy was going on about at the time because it hasn’t happened. That itself is extremely confusing and I don’t know what they were thinking at the time.

Can you please talk about the differences in Duck and the Diesel Engine, Stepney the Bluebell Engine, The Little Old Engine, Gallant Old Engine, Really Useful Engines, and Toby, Trucks, and Trouble double please next (I was also going to ask about the Small Railway Engines but since they didn't get adapted until the cgi series, and since the cgi series isn't as good as the models series, I'm not so sure if you even have plans on talking about the differences between the book or the episodes on those particular stories at all)??

Not sure if you noticed, but in the book, Percy crashes at the Old Harbor, while the adaption has him crash at Brendam Docks
