Spot’s actually been written really well before. In Amazing Spider-Man 589 he becomes just a straight up killer and it’s pretty awesome. I think his costume is fine too though, especially since his powers are really closely linked to the design. In that comic I just mentioned too they do an interesting thing where they retcon the meaning of The Spot to actually be a reference to certain death in the book Treasure Island. Could definitely see it easily put into a movie.

Mmm Ghool Hmm that sounds cool, but Spot being a killer? Idk, I prefer the animated series version, where he's just a guy trying to do the right thing, it heads south and he becomes a sort of antihero. I mean, a guy who can bend portals to his own imagination? He would be more dangerous than Carnage. I honestly see him better as a Fantastic Four or Doctor Strange villain, the whole physics aspect to him really needs to be around people who deal with cosmic stuff.

Eh. That was a reallyyyy dumbed down and nerfed Batroc. Yeah sure having GSP play him was coo I guess. But that character literally could've jus been any random ordinary guy who was a better fighter than the others. He jus had batrocs colors. That's it.

There is a comic called Spider-man and the X-men where Spider-man goes to the Jean Grey school as a sort of remedial class teacher and counselor. He forms his class into a team to teach them how to be heroes and one of his students has telekinesis. His name is hellion. They fight Dr. Bones n' bees and kills all the bees with a wave of telekentic pressure. Basically Spider-man freaks out and is like you can't kill people! and Hellion is like, since when is it wrong to kill bees and Spider-man's response is "It is when they make a person!" and he makes this sad face because he cares about the well being of Nazis that are made of bees.

Styx would be a great villain in a movie. Since he can't hurt spiderman by touching him, the threat would be against a none super hero or anyone with exposed skin. This would create an engaging and stressful scene of spiderman keeping Styx from touching someone while fighting Stone.
