This was my grandma’s favourite song to play, I remember being very young and watching the way her hands moved with the piano. Now I watch her play as her hands stumble against the keys, it’s still beautiful, it’s still her hands. But it’s a reminder of how terrifying the future is, and how old I’ve gotten
the reason why some children stop playing the piano is because they don’t enjoy it/find it boring when they’re young ,but often when they get older they regret that decision. i regret my decision, i stopped piano when i was six. i had only played for a year then but i think if i didn’t stop i could have done 8 years of progress by now. I restarted at 11 or 12 . now im 14 and i think in 4 years of piano lessons i have learnt alot! In two years you can play this piece , you can play all sorts of things. So don’t give up. Don’t think you’re too old to restart or too late. Just try. And you’ll see that you will be happy and you will be glad. And if you have the determination, you can learn a lot, even in one year! every day when i see my progress and determination, im making up for the lost time. And you can too. good luck! This felt so nice to read. I started playing piano at 23 and I have never touched an instrument before. I was really scared to start playing but now when I am almost done with my first year I am so happy to have started. I cannot take lessons as I am to sick to do so and only play when I am healthy enough. Which in turn doesn't make much of a progress but it's all right. The happiness from a few minutes of music makes my world colourful again, and reading this made it all right to continue this way. Thank you! I‘m posting this comment as a reminder for myself. I stopped playing piano when I was 8 years old, I just lost the interest to keep going. Today, I‘m 17 years old and I deeply regret my decision. I am going to start playing the piano again and set my goal, to be able to play this, in my life. This really inspired me of doing something, I should have continued through my whole life. That's it. I heard this piece of art a few days ago for the first time and I couldn't even tell what I was feeling. I didn't stop listening to it ever since. It was like so many pictures in my head. So many different emotions for all the different parts. "Dreams, stories and pain" is just a wonderful and so fitting description.

I love this . It makes me feel kinda sad but .... in a good way? it makes me remember all the good and bad things that happened to my life. Also the things that I’ve never done. Weird huh? Many of you are saying about the title of the song and you’re right , but I never believed that a song/ melody can touch someone’s soul in so many ways , in so little time , so many emotions are coming to the surface and I didn’t know that I had them.

Makes you realise all the good things you faced in your life and everything that you faced that seemed like a difficulty each time. You passed those times and have overcome those situations. The scars are there and will remain there for a while. It's okay to let yourself loose and remember every now and then, to let out the emotions inside that have been bottled up for a long time.. Just let it all go..

I don't know why, but I feel that this piece represents life. I like how the pianist also left their little mess-ups in too (doesn't change the fact that this is amazing!!) because to me it expressed how life knocks you down and you have to try your hardest to get back up. You can give up whenever you want, but rather than doing that, and losing your chance, you continue on. I don't know, It just gives me those vibes.

To the person who read this, It’s been hard for you, I know, and it makes me sad that you don’t see yourself in the way I see you. Sometimes they are things in life that cause us to loose ourselves, and the way you have is so unimaginable painful. It’s painful to see that no one around you seems to see the pain trough your eyes, but, stranger, I do, I see how heavy your heart is and how comforting the sadness for you might be, how afraid your heart is of happiness because it disappears in the end, right? You don’t know how much impact you have in this world and it’s sad to see that your demons fight against you and want to take over you. Because you do make change, it’s something so simple and little that brightens up someone’s whole world, it can be a small smile from your lips, the way you look at things you’re passionate about, the way you make yourself eat even though it’s been hard for you lately, the way you zoom out and go in your own world, you brighten up my world by reading this, it means a lot to me that you’re here, existing, but I don’t want you to just exist, you deserve to feel alive. You deserve to get up in the morning and feel good about yourself. You deserve to feel something- to feel every damn second alive in this lifetime. It’s heartbreaking that you think you’re not capable of being loved, because you are, I love you trough all my words and I hope you let it happen in your heart. As you can see, I say a lot of “I hope” because I have hope for you even if you don’t have it for yourself, I see hope in you even though you might want to give up. That’s why I hope you won’t see the world in darkness and will see it colorful again, I hope I will give you a glimpse of hope and make the world you see a bit colorful for today. My favorite color is yellow, and I hope the next time you see the color yellow you will think about my words. If someone left you than don’t blame yourself, don’t think you weren’t enough, don’t lower yourself for someone who couldn’t see the awesomeness in you. If you lost someone I am so sorry for your loss, they want you happy, I hope you don’t feel guilty or regret because you were there, you spend enough time with them, they want you to be happy. For the first time in my life, I loved someone more than myself. It was the first time I fell in love with someone. I learned what love means. The man I fell in love with played the piano. This is my favorite piece. I asked him to play this for me on my birthday. He said okay and promised. When my birthday came, he said that the piece he could not play was too long and he needed to practice, so he postponed it and promised to play it. I loved the music he played, I watched his videos (playing the piano) every day and every night. He didn't play this song for me, he didn't keep his promise and left me. It still reminds me of him every time I listen to this. He was my first love, my first abandonment, my first rejection. I have memories in this music. I have a different memory in each note. I don't know if it's nice to be in love. I've experienced the worst.

Oğuz atayın beni derinlemesine etkileyen bir sözüdür belki de bende korktuğum için belkide bu söz bana kendimi hatırlattığı içindir ve bu yüzden bu sözü benim hayatımın bana verilmiş bir tecrübesi olarak algılıyorum yani bir nevi ders almış gibiyim.Çok yaşlı değilim fakat ölüm her yaş için geçerli o yüzden iyi ki bu sözle erkenden karşılaşmışım ve umarım sende bu sözü hayatının önemli bir yerine koymuş uyguluyorsundur :) Herkes ölür ama herkes gerçekten yaşamaz 60 70 yaşında duvara baktığınızda hiçbir resim göremiyorsanız bu kötü bir resim asmaktan daha kötüdür ki bence her kötü resmin içinde bir güzellik var her güzelliğin içinde bir kötülüğün olduğu gibi :)
Gece saat 03.00 ve yine buradayım... Tüm günden ve geceden kaçıp bir uçurumun kenarında uçsuz bucaksız bir manzaraya bakmak gibi huzur veren bu esere kaçtım yine... Can't stop coming back to this absolute masterpiece... Honestly, I love this version more than the 2020 version, because you can hear the thumping from the pedal, the clicks from the keys, the small mistakes here and there, and it just makes the entire performance so much better... more human :)
there's no words to describe how I feel when I listen to this music. It's something like feeling when you are at your worst, nothing goes like you thought it would, everyone turn back to you, no one listen to you and they don't care what you want to say. but suddenly, from nowhere, the feeling of power, motivation, confidence and strength comes. and despite these bad things, you feel worthy.

I've loved the piano since I was 8, was never allowed to play it though, I'm tone deaf so my parents found playing the piano a waste of time. They told me to do other things that I could get good at and be productive instead of playing the piano. So as I sit here, a many years ahead, working on my academics, I listen to piano pieces like these and smile at all the comments about people expressing their love for playing the piano. Maybe one day, when I've nothing to do but be myself, I'll pick up a piano and start playing.

tüm yazdıklarınla aynı hisleri taşıyorum...ne eksik ne fazla tamamen aynı hisler bende de mevcut bu parçayı dinlerken...hayatın acımasızlığını yüzüme tokat gibi vuran bir şarkı herşeyin ne kadar çabuk olup bittiğini nasılda yalnız başımıza olduğumuzu insanların nasılda kötü olabildiklerini içime içime işliyor ne söyleyebilirim bilmiyorum ama hayat gerçekten çok zor...
Neden her gün buradayım? Neden sürekli bunu dinlemek zorundaymış gibiyim? Acaba mutlu olabilecek miyim,gelecek kaygılarım bitecek mi? Başarılı olamazsam herkes neler demez ki? Neden kendime sürekli soru sormak zorunda kalıyorum? Belkide bu dünya bana göre çok kötü bir yerdir ama belkide ben çok hassasımdır... Kan görmekten bu yaşımda bile çok korkarım birine zarar gelmesinden çok korkarım ama kendimi hiç önemseyemem.. Birini sevmek çok basit bir şey midir ya da sevgiye karşılık vermek? Sevgi nedir ki.. İnsanoğlu görmediği bir şey bilmediği bir şey için yorum yapabilir mi? Kendinde bulabilir mi cevabı bulamazsa ne yapabilir neye sarılabilir neye tutunabilir ki? Doğum günü kutlamak güzel bir şey midir ki? Onu yaşadıktan sonra sonrakinde insan aynı mutluluğu yaşayabilir mi ? Her gün kafama takılan soruları buraya yazsam düzelir mi ki? Bilmiyorum neden bu kadar yazdığımı inanın ki. Belkide yaşamak için doğru bir yer değildir burası. Bir gün buraya herkese hoşçakal dedikten sonra alıp verdiğim nefesin sonu olabilir kim bilir belkide bir mektuptur bu içimi dökebildiğim.. -------------------- 6 ay oldu bunları yazalı. Hala hiç bir şey yolunda değil ve aksine daha da kötüye sarıyo işler. Ameliyat oldum.. Benim için korkutucu falan değildi hatta hiç problem değildi hemşireyle biraz sohbet ederek bayıltıldım falan. Uyandım yanımda kimse yoktu hani yakın hissettiklerin birisi olur veya sana saygı duyduğunu düşündüklerin falan olur gerçekten kimse yoktu ve benim orda gerçekten artık bir şeyler için çabalamamın veya değiştirmemin anlamının kalmadığını fark ettim, gerçekten canımı acıttı yani.. Artık kitap okuyamıyorum eskisi gibi odaklanamıyorum çok dikkatim dağılıyor, ilaçları kullanmayı bıraktım gerçekten çok zorluyordu beni. Ayaktayım şuan yürüyebiliyorum. Yaptığım şeye gezmek denilmese de yaşadığım şehrin farklı yerlerinde görüp tanımadığım ihtiyacı olduğunu düşündüğüm insanlara yardım ediyorum, günümün çoğunluğu böyle geçiyor yani garip bir şekilde motive ediyo'.. Artık çok fazla sigara kullanmaya başladım hani bağımlılığı da geçti ama pek umursayamıyorum onu da. Yaşadığım olayları kendime hatırlatıp işte çok kötü şeyler yaşıyorum ölmek istiyorum bilmem napıyorum ben tribine girmiyorum ama gerçekten 18 yaşındaki bir insana göre daha ne kadar güçlü durabilirim bilmiyorum. -------------------- 30 Haziran 2021. Yarın doğum günüm, eskisinden çok daha fazla intihara meyilli hissediyorum.
Hiç adil olmasada hayatı affetmeyi öğrendim. Kırıldığımda her ne kadar karşımdakini kırmaya değse de Önemli değil demeyi öğrendim. Birini ne kadar düşünürsem düşüneyim ne kadar seversem seviyim yine de arkasına bakmadan gidebileceğini öğrendim. Kandirmasamda hiç kimseyi kandirilmayi, Unutmasamda unutulmayı öğrendim. Değer sandığımın aslında değmedigini öğrendim.
İntihar etmek isteyen bir adamın son anında; lan dur bakalım şu hayatımı bi gözden geçireyim neler yaşamışim, bi üstünden geçeyim tekrardan diye düşünürken arka fonda çalan müziğin bu olduguna yemin edebilirim ama kanitlayamam. Bana hisettirdiği ise hayattan mağlup olmuş bir insanın içinde ki kaybedilen son umudun melodileri.
Eğer bir gün birilerinin canını yakacak kadar vicdansız olursan kırmak istemeyeceğin birilerini kırarsın muhtemelen. Tecrübelerimden biliyorum. Onun yerine en iyisi seni kıranları görmemek onları kendinden uzaklaştırmak daha güçlü ayağa kalkmak. Şüphen olmasın ki seni haksız yere kıranlar bir gün kırılacaklar. Eğer kötü olursan kendini de kaybedersin bulmaya çalıştığın mutluluğunu da. Birileri sana konsun diye yapılan vazo olup kırılınca keskin cam olmak yerine o vazonun yapılma sebebi çiçek ol ki kırılsan dahi tohumlarından yeniden doğabilesin. İyi günler...
Böyle güzel bir sesi almak için böyle güzel bir piyano gerekiyormuş. Ben de bu parçaları çok sevdiğim için bir süre kursa gittim şuan bir parçanın üstünde biraz çalışırsam rahatça çalabiliyorum. Ama hiçbirşey tahmin ettiğim gibi olmuyormuş çaldıklarımın youtube da gördüğüm cover lar kadar güzel olması için piyano gerekiyor, bende org var. Sesleri gerçekten çok farklı, çalabildiğim bazı parçalar var ama piyano da değilde bendeki orgda çaldığım için çok kötü oluyor gerçekten. Piyano fiyatlarıda malum 2. el en ucuzları bile ortalama 3000 den başlıyor.. Sende durumlar nasıl
Yorumların hepsine bırakacağım binlerce kalp olsa keşke bir tane ile sınırlanmasaydı bu süreçte belkide huzur bulduğum en güzel yer bu şarkıyı dinlerken okumuş olduğum yorumlar oldu. while i have been listened to this music staying in the darkroom with fleshlight on the wall that makes my room feels so cozy and warm, i have discovered how extremely happy i am. I am so thankful for the opportunity to listen to this masterpiece. The piano definitely is my passion (tho time to time i feel kinda lonely i still enjoying these peaceful moments (maybe we are all seeking for our the second part to escape from ourselves) we need these days when we are just off our phones in order enjoying our present; okay and now i am going to sleep knowing no one will read my comment but maybe me in the future to remind myself one more time how peaceful life could be.

The whole time i couldn't stop watching the cottony fluffy stuff at the top being moved around by the keys at the top. The way it just swiftly moved around was so satisfying i swear.
