The Engineering Institution of Zambia EIZ says it will carry out technical audits of the upgrade of the Lusaka -Ndola Road into a dual carriageway.
EIZ President WESLEY KALUBA says this is to ensure quality works are done on the road.
Mr. KALUBA also says all engineers working on the project should be accredited by the institution as it will make it easy to monitor and carry out disciplinary action against anyone erring.
In an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka, Mr. KALUBA said the Institution will actively participate in the construction and the maintenance of the Lusaka -Ndola road project.
