Just did this the other day. - Stock seat (EK4 VTi) and rail: 15.55 kg each - Carpet: 3.75 kg - OEM Car mats: 2.30 kg (all) - Door panel: 2.50 kg each - Rear door panel: 2.30 kg each - Rear seats: 14.55 kg (all) - Rear seat belts (all parts): 2.40 kg - Rear window regulator: 1.5 kg each @Chris, keep up the good work!
Not trolling but actually perplexed at the idea of having to race with the two front windows down?!?!?!?! Lose weight but add air drafting and back pressure? Doesn't that defeat the purpose tho?
I agree with you 100 percent man! It creates a pocket of air. But for safety reasons the rules state that they want both front windows down. My best guess is just Incase there’s some kind of act where you can open the doors the track officials should be able to get you out from the window space
To be honest I’ve never though of doing it that way, BUT when there’s a will there’s a way! I’m sure if you just drill out the spot welds and take a small grinder through one of those holes and use a lot of caution... you should be able to trips a successful outcome
Hey how’s it going man? It’s the factory dash. All I did was remove the glove box, center console where the cup holders are and the plastics under the steering column and cut two metal pieces that bolt the dash to the exhaust tunnel. Hope that gave some good explanation for you.
Chris Acosta i found the video of the car on facebook but i cant find the owners instagram, he changed his name because i remember going though comments and he mentioned who did his doors
@@C_Plus_Racing there is but do you know the price will not even match 15 pounds for shavings or 20 pounds that cost 2k for two doors and then 2 more for the other 2
