Yep, to me it is really sad. She was such a happy person back then-always smiling especially at Sergei and the love she had in her eyes for him! But.... as I recently found out, nothing good seems to last so I hope she is happy with David Pelletier.
She will always love her first husband and first love. Life goes on. I am sure it might not be so easy for DAVID TO LIVED IN SERGHI SHADOW. I THINK IT WAS HARD FOR HER SECOND HUSBAND. I WISH THEM LUCK. I THINK THIS IS BOTH THEIR THIRD MARRIAGE , MAYBE THIRD TIME IS THE CHARM.
Sergej died so many years before and she is a woman and not that young girl she was with Sergej! She has moved on and has every right to date or married whomever she wants!
Yes each on third marriage. That means 6 marriages between the two! It is easy to find love when you are rich, famous, athlete and attractive. She was never alone. Never will be.
Congratulations to Katia..may she find happiness..she and david make a nice couple...but still miss her and Sergei her first husband... they were like no other they were magic together and on the ice..everyone deserves to be happy in life...
Второго Сергея нет! И Катя до конца своих дней будет помнить и любить его, кого бы рядом с ней не было. Как выглядел Сергей, как он красиво танцевал- это не повториться. Хорошо, что Катюша нашла силы жить дальше.
Wow...yes, I say she was perfect with Sergei. However, I wish more people would adopt the attitude that we could just all wish her well in getting on with life as it is, and that it can still be excellent. Sometimes, I think there are too many comments that might turn attention to wishing how things were, rather than appreciating what is...and we still have Katia's skating today, and what a fantastic ambassador for the sport she is! Those are beautiful memories for sure, but I hope she makes many more with lots of other caring, loving people in life---friends, family, etc. I will always remember her and Sergei, tho.
@@stephaniek1076 I completely agree. It is possible to miss Sergei and Katia - but also find joy and appreciation for where Katia is in her life now. I wish her all the happiness in the world.
I loved that program. Its hard seeing her with anyone besides Sergei. But I think Sergei thinks this is ok. He knows he's a great guy who is just skating with Katia.
Challen Miller I remember her saying after she would never skate pairs with anyone again. It’s hard to see her doing it and it’s not Sergei. I remember her first solo skate and how emotional it was.
Песенка долгая и нудная как зубная боль. Программы ей под стать. Жаль, что Екатерине приходится опускаться до уровня своего партнера. Надеюсь, что Екатерине еще посчастливится найти достойного во всех смыслах партнера
@@user-lf6tb6ed5r формально да, чемпион. Помним, как он им стал... Но, в данном случае я говорю об уровне в широком смысле слова. Класс у Екатерины гораздо выше. Если вспомните, то со своей партнершей он катался "на пионерском расстоянии". Катались параллельно, но не вместе. Стиль такой.
Совместная жизнь - это не одна песенка). Прекрасный мужчина рядом с Катей! Так бережно ещё никто не относился к ней. Взрослая любовь, взрослые отношения 👍Счастья и только счастья Катеньке и её семье! А Сергей.. Он всегда рядом. Чем старше человек, тем острее воспоминания о прошлом.. Тем более, дочь их - копия папы). Всем мира и добра.
