@@VaibhavHariani hahah 5 years ago let me think.. Geography AS level. Yeah it went good, it was one of my favourite subjects :) time flies though, wow. Can't believe that was 5 years ago
OMG, you are the first person to explain this SO perfectly where I can at least understand! Thank you so much. This helped me with my final exam sooo much. Again, thank you. 😊
The quagmire that the ENSO was to us here, has been dissipated with the excellent video. the role of this mechanism in deciding priorities for tropical countries makes it important understand...
Can you please explain Ekman Transport in relation with El nino. What and how things happen at Peruvian Coast? Trade winds move from East to West, so due the Ekman transport. water beneath should move 90 degrees to the direction of the wind. But when we see the El Nino explanation, it says, Trade wind leads to piling up of warm water in Northern Australia and UPWELLING takes place at Peruvian Coast. I am confused, where is Ekman Transport when trade winds are moving the ocean current in their direction only leading to accumulation of hot water in N Australia. Please help.
I am a high school teacher teaching meteorology for the first time, and this is soooo helpful! I am so grateful for all of your genius animations. They are so incredibly clear!
Thanks for the video. It was a great explanation. I don't still understand well the consequences in each of the different regions of the world, because El Niño ends up affecting all of South America and the US.
The best explanation of el nino/ la nina ever shared. Finally answered my question... are they exactly the same or completely opposite...kinda lol...Answer is yes to both and the perfect example of karma in action. Could argue about this subject all day and get nowhere so my answer is they are the same thing...but different lol.
