I would classify myself as an alto, and I find it much more natural singing lower registers like this rather than higher soprano notes. It's different for everyone, I suppose. Still sounds hella impressive tho. Awesome work by both Anna and Cami!

Cami’s raw voice is incredible~ I’m a soprano, but the thought of even attempting to create that raw effect with my voice and hold it for so long during a song is terrifying!! There is too much amazingness where to start. Cam's narrative is so raw and emotional! You can almost tell that she's losing herself in the story. Anna brings a lovely contrast with that deep, rich voice like French silk pie. The harmonies are on point. The end is just what you'd imagine at a showdown of epic proportions. My ears are blessed by this.

Holy shit! This is fucking incredible. My birthday’s tomorrow and I love this song so much. AND YOU DID THE INTRO TOO…! Cami’s voice was perfect for this. The raw passion in the lines is something so necessary for this song. It couldn’t have arrived at a better time. My only complaint is that both lyrics weren’t on screen. This cover feels like a mother who discovers her daughter’s other life and becomes unhinged as she realizes her daughter isn’t the innocent little girl she knew and disapproves to say the least of her daughter’s choices. In the beginning, the angry voice is her inner demon/angry side while the soft voice is the loving mother. The Jekkle to her Hyde. If I were to animate this, the first half would have her mouthing the soft voice as the mother is in control, then the last half would be her anger and rage consuming her so she mouths the angry voice. Maybe her shadow could be animated to be singing the “why does my heart cry” part. This was truly an inspiring cover!

This is an absolutely amazing cover of this song! Might even be one of the best covers, too! From Cami's raw, guttural, and passionate voice to Anna's emotional and dulcet tone, it creates a duet of epic proportions!
