YAAAAAAAAASSSSS MY QUEEENNN!!!!!!!!! God, I love this song so frigging much!!! Rasputin is one of the most underrated villains of animated flicks of all time. Christopher Lloyd portrayed him so well. And the movie? "Anastasia" came out in 1997. I remember it well because I had turned 17 not too long before and I was going through hell in silence. I was mentally ill. I didn't know what I had but I knew something was terribly wrong. When "Anastastia" came out, I asked my parents if I could see it on my own and they agreed. I was a little nervous but not much. I was excited. As I sat in my seat, the lights dimmed out, the ads and then the coming soon movie trailers came on. Felt like forever. Then the entire theatre went dark and the movie started. And for over an hour and a half, all my worry, confusion, sadness, anger, depression and despair just melted away. I was free from the outside world, free from my own wretched thoughts. And I enjoyed every bit of the movie. It has a very special place in my heart and even at 43, it still resides in that particular spot in my heart. My late Mom always said that "Harry Potter" (the book series) saved my life and God help me, it did. But I can't deny that it was "Anastasia" that gave me the hope and courage to go on. To fight to live. And I am forever grateful to this fantastic movie. I'm sorry for my babbling but...oh well!!! Great job on the song Anna!!! I was singing right along with you!!!
