Hello there! Great tutorial, thanks! I am having trouble trying to combine 2 DMX Par Leds with 4 moving heads. Can anyone assist me on how to link the moving heads to the parleds? The 4 moving heads are working fine using the address code. When I try to connect the 4th moving head to the 1st par led I have no response on the par led. Please help!
wow! how did ya get the elation controller to communicate with the visualizer? Is that capture polar?? I'll like very much to setup a virtual lighting rig just like this too. Thanks for any tips you can offer.

ok so im having a problem using this board with LED pars. i have 12 LED pars i have to use and i was testing it out with just 2 LED pars. problem: 1 LED par has 7 channels. currently both pars are running on the "moving lights" faders on the left but both pars are registering as fixture one so as of right now i can control each one individually and save them as scenes but i can only use 2 units and nothing more because its registering both pars as one fixture... what am i doing wrong?
I understand this was 5 years ago but in case anyone else has the same question: fixture numbers are respective to groups of 16 channels. Fixture 1 are dmx channels 1-16, 2: 17-32, etc. I hope this helps someone!
QFellowshipMessages Technically you can have 8 moving fixtures and 8 par can lights. However, this can be used in multiple ways. If you have 4/5 channel lights, for example, you can have 16 fixtures and 8 par can's. Also, any number can be used multiple times, so if you have 16 par cans, you can use 2 per channel and have them both come on when you slide the slider. I believe there's an actual max number of lights, but I think it's depended on your DMX capabilities. You can use DMX splitters/amps to have however many you want.
