I used to play Z-23 a lot until WG removed historical 150 mm guns from her on some hilarious pretext. Now that Elbing boasts that shiny new speed boost, I'm getting really interested in this ship. Question to you Flolo: Is it still required to build for turret traverse in the third slot with Herr Luetjens manning the con tower? I'd rather build for accuracy because these guns look real consistent.
I was in the Jean Bart shooting the enemy ships when suddenly i had a friendly DD come up and smoke in front of me to make sure i cant see anything. A ranked game too, thankfully we still won.
@@richarddo7881 In case you're serious, battleships are easily (but not always) detected when they fire within or from behind a smokescreen. It differs from ship to ship, but I'd say most high-tier battleships will be detected if they fire in smoke by enemies within 15-20 km (line of site permitting).

Its a learning experience. I used to get in cap and smoke up immediately. Then realised I was just sitting in smoke and provided a target for torpedoes from other dds as well as obstructing my teammates view. I think Flamu is a bit aggressive there is a bit of toxicity in the game which is a shame when you consider what else is going on in the world and we don't know about other players circumstances etc. I suppose it forms part of his living whereas for me and most others its a hobby. Hes a fantastic player I learn a lot from watching him.
Played the shit out of this and Felix when they first came out, had super unicum stats in them. I swore up and down they are good ships. They called me a madman.
That dd example is why this game is so frustrating. And god forbid you call someone out for stupid play they get sofa king butt-hurt even though they have thousands of matches and still haven't figured it out yet. If by the thousandth match and you still do not know IMHO your too stupid to ever get it.
Flamed the shit out of that poor T8 DD player who layed down a smoke he used, who got a cap, who torped the azuma, who killed a ship, who got 4th place in the team. Ye he wasnt great but I have seen way worse in this game. You would probably trade this guy for 6 players you get usually in your team.
sad part - its the way WG is recommend playing it (Split etc) introducing while the class in the patchnotes/news . Smoke and fire away. Andf it was the ship you got at the end of the battle pass. so...yeah...
Split might smoked up because he doent have any trust in his teammates. Hardly cant be blamed if that was the case. Relying on teammates in WoWs gets you killed in seconds!
torp DD has stealth, and eversince WG buff IJN guns to useful, high alpha salvo, they are not bad boat, just easier to play. but gunboat DD always has more consistent dmg than torp, because otpr doesn't score well when the other team and radar or hydro, and not mentioning the CV and SS that can outspot you. while gunbaot DD can do dmg the same way light cruiser can do dmg. i think if the DD player do worse in their gunboat DD than their torpboat, they are not the best DD players. they might be the one that play asahio which fire 20km deepwater and just catch a few BB players who have no idea where it is. however, DD palyers still get shit on now, because someplayers still think DD is suppose to anti-subs in this game, and cap is always the DD job regardless whther there is a CV and radar ships near cap. just the level of understand of the common players in this game

Hello. My name is Paul.(IGN-paulbabau) - Im not a big CV enjoyer but they are part of the game. Im actually more of a DD player. - I made the decision of buying the FDR with 22k -ish[Cupon] steel. Why you ask ? Bcuz it was the most expensive thing in the armory (personal mental problems i guess). - However all FDR videos (with a guide to them [aka not just a replay but gameplay overview and analysis]) are over 2 years old and outdated. - I would like to request Flamu to do a review/video of the ship. - I am aware that this comment will probably go unnoticed. But i am determined to make this dream come true (American dream joke). - I will be reposting this comment until i see Flamu playing the FDR. - Why Flamu you ask ? I actually dont know but here are a few reasons why i like his videos: 1.He loves the game more then the devs do sometimes(im being kind here),the guys that made the game ,sometimes dont make to best decisions for said game. (looking at you B ₳ Ⱡ ₦ ₲ ₨ I ₦ ₲ department)[various symbols for currency around the world to look like the word ,,balance,,] 2.Flamu has common sense.(drop chance 0.03% for most)[Super Container joke] 3.Straight to the point without the fear of being canceled/has a strong moral compass(if i have to explain the compass joke to someone, that person deserves a sub shotgunning) , if something is wrong, you can Count on Flamu to point it out. 4.He is Very informative ,as an engineering student (hopefully in 4 weeks i will finish my studies and become one) i love detalis and variables, in short everything that helps you get the rezult you want. (Less broadside RNG moments WG pls ,10km broadside 2overpens really....). Flamu introduces and prezents these gameplay ,,features,, for us the viewer to be better players in the future. - That and for his mental health , i dont think this man can take anymore potato plays from his teammates. 5.He hates Cv.
