I wonder if these were used by the IDF in this most recent dustup with Hamas in Gaza. I'm not sure what the maximum range is for a mortar. I know it depends on how much "Cheese is used to propel it from the mortar tube. I think these used in conjunction with targeting drones would make for pretty accurate targeting. I saw in another video where they were using a drone to visually determine the target had been cleared of civilians before the go-ahead was given to attack the target.

Cheap drones have more range and easy to deploy if you want more explosive payload too!! The mortar with heavy tube and the plate, to bulky, but more rate of fire in 10km range!!winds or contarmesure work against drones....sometimes, is better tech and money vs less tech and less money!!
