But seriously, I subscribe to a fair few Van life / couple channels and with the greatest of respect to all those other channels, I can honestly say that you (James and Helen) have become my favourite RU-vidrs by a country mile, you both feel like good friends I've never met, you're both just so down to earth and genuine, and I'm so pleased you both had such a great time on your well deserved holiday!...Here's to the next one!
Helen reminded me of my wife at the botanical gardens, reading everything in great detail and learning about it's history, I start to lose the will to live after about 15 minutes 🙄 I just wander around these places thinking about what I am having for dinner later and learn bugger all 🤔 Glad you both enjoyed your time is Spain, I did feel for you driving home in the pouring rain absolutely knackered mate. I don't know anybody else who's been to Elche, l've only been a few times because l discovered the cycle path from Alicante, lovely sleepy place is Elche. Alicante on the other hand is totally wonderful, long may the Beni crew keep missing it out. 😂

I've really enjoyed this holiday vlog. I lived in Benidorm for a couple of years when I was in my 20's - I was one of those ticket touts you mentioned in your last one. I worked the infamous 'square' where all the club's were. Obviously it's changed a hell of a lot since I was there - the money was still pesatas then! I must admit I've not watched for a while but I'm so glad this came up in my feed! It reminded me of how much I like you two and with it being Benidorm too well that was the cherry on the cake! I have a better tan than a work colleague who has just come back from Dubai and I live in Cornwall. Don't mock our weather. We have good and bad days. Cornwall is usually great from late May.

British Army tip ... Roll the sweat rag like a sausage roll and immerse in water. The colder the better. Wrap it around the base of your neck, across the shoulders. Covering the head won't cool you down, but will delay sun stoke.

I live near Denia....It's hell...nearly everyday its glorious sunshine and T-shirt weather..even in Winter....It gets that bad you look forward to overcast grey skies and Rain....Pace of life is slow and the cost of living is low....Strangers say hello in the street..and the police aren't constantly on the hunt to give tickets....Its the exact opposite of the UK....THATS why I will never leave..not even the slightest want to go back to the UK ....If its what you want..do it...best decision i ever made moving here 10 years ago...

We must have had the same driver a few weeks ago from airport to Alicante tram station! Either he was behind time or had a nervous twitch I was standing in the isle and numerous times nearly went through the windscreen! Got hit with cases its an awful journey
