God DAMN the volcano manor invasion was the sweatiest I’ve seen Chase endure in ages! I literally went through the Dynasty area today too and Varre was also in the pit for me! First time in 5 characters that’s happened. Some random dropped me 99 numen runes in PvP so I’ve been level 138 for a while, probably going to stay there tbh. Even though it seems all the demo characters FromSoft made were 150. Oddly enough Mogh is weakest to bleed!

That invasion survival in the volcano manor 😄👌 There are three ancient dragon smithing stones in Consecrated Snowfield btw and as a reminder in case you need them: The two night calvaries, Yelough Anix Tunnel, and the frozen waterfall near Great Wyrm, and there's a somber ancient dragon smithing stone in Mohgwyn Palace right in front of the lift and behind the statue. I've stashed them all in case I come across cool weapons in DLC

I feel like the DLC is gonna make quality builds viable. The great katanas, light great-swords, throwing weapons, thrusting shields and hand to hand combat sound like quality based weapons to me. Going in with DEX and meeting the minimum STR requirements is gonna be my first approach though!

That walking mausoleum in the snowfields can be sniped from Ordina. I used the jar cannon on journey 7.

I never noticed that the 3 nameless white masks all technically invade differently. One says recusant vanquished, another says bloody finger vanquished, and chase's third just said invader vanquished

i think u maybe missed an ancient smithing stone right before the mohg boss fight and the black knife assasin armor under the haligtree teleporter... theres another ancient smithing stone in the snowfield with the double black knight cavalarys at night.

Able to buy golem arrows from a merchant is all I want from the DLC instead of farming 5 every hour.

Also Latenna's Spirit Ash is really good at higher upgrade levels. She has huge range and if you can keep her alive will do a ton of damage.

Hey Chase, it's been a good while since you've taken a gander at Straight Swords. I got a fun one for you. Pure INT power stanced magic affinity broadswords (Broadsword/longsword is also a good combo if you can't get your hands on two broadswords.) I use Chilling Mist on the offhand, and sword dance on the mainhand for a hyper armor crowdbreaker.
