Did you know sleep pots actually go really really well with the bubble blower? Put the enemy to sleep, then make 'em squeaky clean. I call this the baby treatment. Alternatively, substitute sleep pots for other sleep weapons, like the St Trina's... Sword. The sword.
I've never paid attention to the sound that the large horn made, but hearing that tremendous*BWAANG* and then watching someone take 1200 damage is a good time
Chase's utter disdain for elden stars is my favorite part of these vids, no matter what he's saying or doing, it all gets cut with a "NO. NONE OF THAT. SHAME ON YOU" lmao
The bubbles are so disproportionatelly funny. I'm over here giggling at some floating bubbles in a video game. And Chase is doing the same on the other side of the screen
Oh man, this might be my new favorite build of yours. The absolute UNIT of a bubble from the giant horn, the surprise burst of the long horn and the hilariously menacing mini-doot all make for top tier entertainment. Can't wait for this to come back.
Chase clowned on this one kid one time using the torch, kid was like "i'm fromsofts nephew, i'll get them to ban you cheeter" Chase laughed, who wouldn't...then the suits came to his door.
Woohoo - fun to see this build from Chase. I had a blast in my bubble only PvE run and had to post even before watching Chase certainly blow away the Tarnished to suggest it.
Wizards mentioned at least 2 times: 03:22 Wizard 20:35 It's basically a Wizard Since I started counting there were 3640.2 mentionings of Wizards across 310 videos. Bonus: 19:33
If you never noticed before, you can tell which directions the ice/fire pillars shoot based on whether the imp statues on each side have open or closed mouths. I just noticed that for the first time last week
While we're on the topic of ash of wars with unexpected effectiveness I wanted to tell you about the Lifesteal Fist. I've run a build that was mainly INT with some DEX (100RL range) and landing that ash of war with scholars armement one-shots almost everyone I've hit it with. It's actually baffling how you can get 1800~ damage from that ash of war when buffed with scholars armement. That not even mentioning the fact I think it goes through shield blocks like a command grab and it HEALS a good chunk of your health back so it's great when you trade with someone for it. All your videos are great, much love
So I dig some cursory glancing at the weapon data doc and it turns out most damaging weapon AoW's have a .8x modifier on them, Lifesteal Fist has a modifier of 1.25x. So from numbers alone it's over 50% stronger than most common Ashes. It's a bit more complicated than that because that's just the pvp multiplier and not the motion value but still that's pretty absurd
@@axis8396 I never knew that. I honestly thought there was some bug at play because weapon buffs seem to add alot more damage then the AR would have you assume. I wouldn't say it's busted but good lord it's strong. I'm glad I don't see it very often.
I really want to just see a video of chase's best failed invasions. Just some of the wacky and wild fail invasions would be such a fun watch for a laugh. I would watch a long form version of this once a month and smile the whole time im sure haha
19:14 typical bleed build player: - Cookie cutter build pulled from youtube - White mask - Starts running the moment his summons die - Can't do shit to fight for himself
I don’t have the Greathorn but plan on getting it before the dlc. I don’t really do pvp, but in PvE I found I can blow a bubble with the small horn and then run at them and attack or jump attack and the bubble usually finished em off or it lands at the same time as my attack and it’s so satisfying
Here is a challenge for you, Chase: Crit-fishing with a lightning-infused, Royal Knight Resolve Misericorde. See how high a healthpool you can oneshot.
You can free-aim the medium horn during the weapon art to adjust how far it goes. Although you cannot aim the ash left or right during free-aim, you can make it go far or close to you. This is particularly useful when your opponent rushes towards you so you just free aim to target right IN FRONT of you since the target lock-aim adjusts the trajectory much slower
Might be my imagination, but I remember the great horn big bubble more...reliable. Still a great weapon to have fun on both pvp and pve. Thanks for the video, Chase.
next time you do this you should have the arrow's reach talisman as it exends the range of the projectiles and also makes them home better and faster. PS. also works with the spell bubbles
Hey Chase, I did 1 playthrough as a sorcerer/incant user when the game 1st came out, I thought I explored most things but I maybe explored 50% of the game by the time I got to elden beast, so I'm going to do another playthrough right now. I'd like for you to pick a build or recommend something fun for me :)
I truly appreciate that in a game with 101 ways to boost damage, including talismans, Chase runs: poise talisman, defense talisman, equip load stamina and health boost. Survivability is the way to
Seeing that guy die to scarlet rot, unable to heal due to a bubble chasing him, makes me wonder if there'd be any viability for an arcane build using the bubble sorceries, the albanauric staff, and whatever dots you can get on em probably not much, but i can dream
