That dude is a gigachad wow. The fact he had moon veil and something to use bloodhound and he was casting sorceries is just wild. Not to mention the Calculated one shot at the end
@@speeskeek9485 Even better, this guy didn't spam it, he only used it when he needed to but used rolls to avoid most attacks, which saved him some mana
Thank you for saying this hahaha…. I was like wow spamming blood hound step for the whole battle then using moonveil. Props to this dude though he was casting some pretty good spell combos against that cheese.
@@rodaballinibro3716 imagine not getting offended and actually getting good. I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings but asking you to improve yourself shouldn’t offend you lol
I wonder how my spellbreaker build would do against this. I made a build that is constant pressure and spell interruption to create openings and stop mage casting, I've yet to lose to a mage. Granted I'm also only lvl 90, but I'll have to test it at later lvls.
Great fight here. For PVE and PVP I'm a very humble quality build using bloodhound's fang and claw without a spell to my name. Every time I win a duel against someone I am surprised lmao, but the truth of the matter is that if I hit you, with all my points in strength and dex, it's gonna hurt pretty bad XD. I know for a fact I probably wouldn't even get close to players like this though especially since I dress exclusively for fashion. I wonder if using blood step will become more commonplace since it's so broken. Looks cool as hell though. I hope builds stay this diverse, makes for really good content. These vids make me want to put a few points into faith before I hit 135 though.... wanna perfect a canonically accurate bloodhound build in honor of how much I've enjoyed borrowing their moveset.
All the more reason even as a mage to carry a weapon with you also and not just a staff. Cool to see though I run a mage build but I have some decent armor on and my main weapons are the dark moon greatsword and a cold lordsworns sword. I have options when the magic runs out and I can fight up close or at range. All around a good build I think.
Hey, real question here: What are the perks for PvP'ing in Elden Ring? I see that we get Rune Arcs, but i dont know what they're used for. Do we trade them in for gear/spells? Or is it just for the sake of "bragging rights"?
@@truecrimeMIA The Great Runes cannot be however equipped right of the bat, you need to still 'activate' them by going to particulare Divine Tower. Usually it's close to where the boss was.
You don't even need to PVP to get Rune Arcs, you can just help people with fighting bosses, also you get huge exp for that depending on your boss choice. One night I was just listening to podcasts while helping people fight the Caelid basement Godskin guy mixed in with a few Radahn every here and there and went up 20 levels from 80... People just play PVP because a small group of Souls players just enjoy PVP and have always played it with every title, it's entirely a preference.
why is everyone keeping so much distance now? is part of the meta? i dont get it. i always see on yt that ppl cast a bunch of spells from the other side of the country lmao, wouldn'tbe better to get closer and rollcatch them with spells?
pvp is still in its infancy. you’ll definitely run into mages who know what’re they’re doing, but for the most part a lot of them spray and pray something hits without much thought about which spell is following up the next. the invader had the right idea around 1:48, mixing delayed spells with instant casting ones
Blood hound step ashes of war and ballids armor. You can get ballids armor from a very long quest line. I forgot where I picked up blood hound step but I think it’s pretty easy.
@@ElJayEmCee So, honest assessment, pure caster pvp build is actually "viable" this time around? In DS3 you had to tryhard the shit out of invasions as a pure mage to make it work, like a "you do it mostly for the challenge" kind of thing. Any insights would be appreciated dude, thanks for the cool content
@@danielmontilla1197 yes casters are much more viable if anything over powered against certain adversaries I would totally recommend to anyone to atleast try it out for themselves some people will enjoy some people won't it's just depends on your style of game play ❤️
He has it as his mainhand, then would swap to two handing Moonviel when he wants its weapon art. You can two hand your left weapon by holding Y/Triangle then pressing L1. I assume his staff is the other mainhand weapon along with the claw
Meteorite of Astel isn't really any good in PVP, easy to dodge and leaves a lot of opening. also you should get an offhand weapon or switch to something when you ran out of FP. I like using the glintstone kris or the carian knight's sword because it scales with int.
I wonder why the opponent waited until the very end to unleash everything he had though, that was kinda interesting. Throughout the entire fight I thought he was pretty weak but then he lets out a freaking meteor shower and shoots out a moon
When pvping wizard the number 1 objective to secure the win is get them to run out of mana since they can only bring half the estus to your world once they are out of mana they are a sitting duck for the most par because it dosnt regen.
